Title: Now that Bayer bought Monsanto, transgenic corn can be used in food in Europe

What kind of biased decision is this????
   So now that the german group owns the mutant species, they can put it in the european food chain? Fuck you european union, you deserve worst than migrant invasion.

This is a misconception. GM crops are not needed to feed the world and they're not the solution to any current or potential world hunger (although I think they can help).

We already produce A LOT. A huge percentage is however wasted as it don't meets the AESTHETIC criteria the market imposes.

For instance, in the banana business, up to 15% is dismissed because the fruit doesn't look good, even if this has no impact in the nutritional value or the shelf life time. It's the same for any other crop out there, with different numbers of course.

Countries with people starving are the result of shitty policies and systems, not agriculture.

Now, whether GM crops are safe or not, I don't know. But we don't need it, that I know.

No fucking way a gm plant is going to kill you. If they can make strains of plants more resistant to drought, insects, etc why the hell no. Why do we focus on stupid shit when the world is so fucked beyond this

most food doesnt kill u outright like a bullet to the head but most of it causes inflamatory conditions
