TRYING. TO. LOSE!!!
“When people come back from war and combat and they see maybe what the people in this room have seen many times over, and you’re strong and you can handle it, but a lot of people can’t handle it,” Trump told a room full of veterans.

Doesn't matter either way. His base is unshakable. Their devotion for
hating blacks and Mexicans (sorry, "making America great again," I mean) is worth the shame, ridicule, embarrassment, treason, and national security risk of electing TRUMP to office.

Trump is employing twelve of the thirteen tactics Saul Alinsky set forth in his classic work Rules for Radicals.
Read all 12 of them here, with examples. Tough to argue this one...

but it does take away the ability for repubs to complain about when liberals use alinsky tactics.

Using Alinsky's tactics, we can still complain about Hillary using them too! See, that's how Alinsky's tactics work: Always be on the attack!
You really should read his book.

I think this sums up Trump's reply:
We are losing so many great people who could be taken care of if they had proper care.

Here is the response from the guy who asked Trump the question:
“I think it’s sickening that anyone would twist Mr. Trump’s comments to me in order to pursue a political agenda. I took his comments to be thoughtful and understanding of the struggles many veterans have, and I believe he is committed to helping them. The nature of my question focused on a broken system that’s failing so many of our veterans and, as president, would Mr. Trump take a more holistic approach to health care for veterans. I interpreted his answer to affirm that the system is broken and he would take the necessary steps to address it. After eight combat tours in Afghanistan I came home and was diagnosed with PTSD, and I struggled with it. Since my own recovery I’ve been privileged to help 1100 veterans who have graduated from our program; none of whom have committed suicide since graduating. It’s a very important issue to me, which is why I was thankful for the opportunity to ask Mr. Trump about it directly.”

I take it saint Anger is our new liberal liar. Is this a LurkerNoMore although by chance?

Is this the same Republican party that took out of context Obama's "you didn't build that comment" and made it a meme at their convention?
-
It's just not Killary that lies. It's the entire left.

Can you explain how his comments were taken out of context? His comment in its full context seems fairly easy to understand. Did republicans make huge omissions to obama's statement as Democrats have done here to Trump?

you really need this explained to you
let me just get some clarification
do you believe Obama's "you didn't build that comment" referred to people not building their own businesses as Republican's tried to pretend

He was catering to the new liberal pussies, like you. He said virtually everyone needed help to get where they are in life. They didn't pretend anything. He actually said it, versus the crude representation and omission of trump's words in the article linked above.

In early August 1943, Lieutenant General George S. Patton slapped two United States Army soldiers under his command during the Sicily Campaign of World War II. Patton's hard-driving personality and lack of belief in the medical condition post-traumatic stress disorder, then known as "battle fatigue" or "shell shock", led to the soldiers becoming the subject of his ire in incidents on 3 and 10 August, when Patton struck and berated them after discovering they were patients at evacuation hospitals away from the front lines without apparent physical injuries.
Word of the incidents spread, eventually reaching Patton's superior, General Dwight D. Eisenhower, who ordered him to apologize to the men. Patton's actions were initially suppressed in the news until journalist Drew Pearson publicized them in the United States. While the U.S. Congress and the general public expressed both support and disdain for Patton's actions, Eisenhower and Army Chief of Staff George Marshall opted not to fire Patton as a commander. He was nonetheless sidelined from combat command for almost a year.

The newly unearthed diaries of a colourful assassin for the wartime Office of Strategic Services (OSS), the forerunner of the CIA, reveal that American spy chiefs wanted Patton dead because he was threatening to expose allied collusion with the Russians that cost American lives.
The death of General Patton in December 1945, is one of the enduring mysteries of the war era. Although he had suffered serious injuries in a car crash in Manheim, he was thought to be recovering and was on the verge of flying home.
But after a decade-long investigation, military historian Robert Wilcox claims that OSS head General "Wild Bill" Donovan ordered a highly decorated marksman called Douglas Bazata to silence Patton, who gloried in the nickname "Old Blood and Guts".
His book, "Target Patton", contains interviews with Mr Bazata, who died in 1999, and extracts from his diaries, detailing how he staged the car crash by getting a troop truck to plough into Patton's Cadillac and then shot the general with a low-velocity projectile, which broke his neck while his fellow passengers escaped without a scratch.
Mr Bazata also suggested that when Patton began to recover from his injuries, US officials turned a blind eye as agents of the NKVD, the forerunner of the KGB, poisoned the general.
