Watched this. Another example of police under extreme political and media scrutiny banging up the wrong people.
Seems clear that the breaking and entering Heeb, Rudy Guede, broke in. Then, as you do in such endeavours, he decided to take a shit in the bathroom toilet. This then woke Meredith Kirchner up, who he then attacked and killed. He then panicked, took a shower and left without flushing.
Knox came back in the morning and took a shower before figuring out something was wrong.
Police then fit their the evidence to their theories. Knox clearly being a bit crazy didnt help her situation with them either.

The turd aroused her suspicions that someone else had been there (as opposed to a mild mannered 21 year old female student), combined with a large blood soaked footprint on the bath mat. But it was the locked bedroom door caused her to phone Rafaelle who then phoned the police.

There aren't really any. Italy is a very xenophobic country, not on the level of Japan, but similar to Eastern Eu. They don't appreciate other cultures, other values than their own, any infringing religion or other ethnicity. Coming to think of it, had it not been such a poor country, most getbiggers would have enjoyed the place. Well there is a big difference between northern Italy (not poor and not so xenophobic) and the south plus Sicily (poor and racist). North of Italy is great to visit.
