This shit has always amused me and I've been reasonably successful without reading any of it but has any getbigger looked into these "guides" put out by so called "pick up artists" and can point out the most legitimate sources? I'm curious to read some of this stuff (not that I really need it because I have a woman in my life now). Getbig advices have been enough to get me by thus far.

Pick up lines are a waste of time if a woman like you she will talk to you, just introduce yourself have a casual conversation get her number and ask her out, if she is not into you then you are wasting your time no pick up line in the world will save you.

I can rarely listen to more than 15 minutes of Tom Leykis without getting bored but you can tell that guy truly loves what he is doing.

I have no problem getting dates and if I have sex with them one time they are hooked, but I must admit I am not the most charismatic guy in the world at times during "dates" and there have been one or two occasions where I failed to create good conversation and advance things at a good pace etc.

It doesn't take lines. Just approach a girl, first thing she realizes is your looks, not what you say. If she is attracted she'll talk to you, if she's not, then move on. It's not rocket science but actually a law. The law of attraction.

Tons of material on YouTube. Lines have almost nothing to do with pickup unless you mean cocaine in which whispering in a girl's ear that you have an eight-ball of coke works better than any pickup line ever could.

I had a couple friends who got really into this. It seemed fun to kinda 'role play' and screw with people ala Wedding Crashers while getting laid, but the caveat is that 99% of guys trying this are doing it out of desperation because they are failures with women. They can't pull any of it off because they are too awkward. Girls don't fall for this shit unless you have money, and that's your only real ticket anyway.
