Trump threatened to prosecute her, and then doubled back and said she'd be in jail.

Paul Krugman on Trump's impeachable offense:

“Let's be clear: a candidate for president promised to put his opponent in jail, if he wins. Everything else is secondary."

Trump pledged tonight to commit an impeachable offense.

Let's remember that there were three articles of impeachment against Nixon. One of them was Article II (Abuse of Power) and that is the one Trump pledged to commit when he is elected. He pledged to use the Oval Office for a vendetta against Hillary.
