Title: PIP Canary Wharf?
Post by: FermiDirac on October 26, 2016, 10:58:47 AM
All you UK high rollers, what are your thoughts on the future of the Canary Wharf area post-Brexit? Bulldozed and turned to a marmite manufacture complex? Are we going to see a big migration to Frankfurt?

UK is better off without all those whitecollar financial criminals. People like that era only good at one thing: creating gigantic risks for entire countries in an attmpt to enrich themselves

Brits should get rid of them asap

What about the investment banking departments like m&a or fixed income? Just the legal work moving?

Either way, once Article 50 is officially invoked the Pound is probably going to devalue even more.

Will probably be near parity or even parity to the Dollar.

Yeah. Smaller brokers cover smaller  companies locally. Frankfurt could benefit a bit.

Bunch of financiers around here.  I had a boots-on-the-ground perspective of it during the late 90s building boom.  Cunt of a place to access.  I hope it dies painfully and everyone sells out for pennies on their dollars spent because I didn't make shit working there.
