On Preparing Himself Against Brock: “Check my Instagram, Goldberg95. I have been training with the biggest, baddest men on the planet. I’m not messing around; it’s not like I came around the idea of saying, hey, I’m going to be 49 and let me get off my couch after 12 years of eating sweets and getting into the ring and facing this monster of a guy, I will be perfectly honest with you, if people don’t think I know how to prepare for athletic competition at the highest level then they have something wrong with them. I take this crap very seriously, and it’s the world of professional wrestling and I take everything with a grain of salt and try to be the best that I can be at what I do, and I am doing this in front of all those people in my underwear, where the last time they saw me I was 290 and was blowing fire under my ears. I was able to press a 290lb Brock Lesnar over my head and my goal is to do the same thing when I walk in there. I won’t be 280lb when I used to be, but what I bring to the ring will be a different package than before, but I will be the same guy so, you know, I’m doing a lot of cross training and footwork, a lot of boxing work. I haven’t been in the ring in a while, so out of those 12 years it’s very important to reacquaint yourself with, but I’m going into one match. I’m not going to get into the ring for 20 days straight and try to familiarize myself again with the ropes. Hopefully, the only thing that will need to be hit is my fist in Brock’s face in the match. The reality is I will be taking some suplexes during this thing, and it is what it is. I may be old, but I know what I am getting myself into. It’s not like I am not training three times a day, three days a week, and twice a day the other days. I am eating 15,000 calories a day; I am trying to gain weight, but you know, I’m Goldberg, I have a standard I have to uphold myself to. I am greatly appreciate that anyone would think I am good at anything; I just try to push myself as hard as I do and hopefully people will come away being happy with it, but the only people I care if they are happy about it is my wife and son and am able to share something with him as a gift. If I can come in and be a superhero with them in that spotlight for a short period of time then that is something I value equally as giving my family that experience so, like I said, in the ring, there aren’t many superheros in the ring. There are a lot of pieces of crap that unfortunately kids look up to, they make missteps. There needs to be a superhero again, the Rock’s, the Goldberg’s, they were around back in the day but they’re not in the forefront anymore.”

15K calories for a fake fight?
-
Let's also keep in mind since he is not a full time wrestler for WWE he is not subject to the wellness policy. All you can eat aas and gh buffet is a go.
-
1. BS on 15,000 kcal.
2. He's 50 and even at 7-10k would be a risk especially combined with the drugs
3. BS on 15,000 kcal. His entire day (if was even to get that high for a day) would be spent on eating, digestion and shitting.
-
All made in a Kosher Kitchen with a Rabbi blessing and praying over his meat.
-
A lot of athletes state a high number of calories to hide from telling people that he will be using steroids
-
Their entire industry is based on inflated stats like weight and height, why should the calories be exempt? Pathological liars the lot of them, good day! >:(
-
Well, calorie lie or not, I enjoyed his statement. Seems like a nice guy to me and echoes what other shoot interviews have stated about him.
-
I don't like Goldberg and it would be nice if his fake jew ass was beat. He had the nerve to threaten Mel Gibson a few years ago. Fuck him!!
-
And I also call bs on the 15,000 calories a day. He's only 280 lbs. You don't need that much food for such an average weight - especially considering his height. He is full of shit!
-
At ten to fifteen calories per pound...15,000 calories would mean you weigh 1000 pounds...a half ton.
-

His toilet will be...
-
I Wouldnt cling to statements like that, people say things and exaggerate for effect in conversation. No doubt his calorie intake is high, he needs to look good and have the weight/bulk to take the falls. Not watched wrestling in years but I watched his comeback appearance and he looked genuinely humbled by the crowd's response, I like him, seems like a good guy, he's doing for wwe what levrone did at the o this year
-
He was awesome back in the 90's. His Spears were the best.
-
i believe him.
a wrestler wouldnt lie.
-
15,000? ::)
Anyone who claims even 5000 a day on a consistent basis, is a liar.
The Victor Richards back in the day claim of 30,000 was totally absurd.

THIS.....

15000 MGs a week is more likely.
-
According to Bret Hart, he was generally quite a rough wrestler, not really worried about hurting the other guy.
He gave Bret Hart a concussion from a kick to the head.

Yes that kick ended Brett's career. He believes it also contributed to his stroke. Bret is no fan of Goldberg.
-
Not shocked. He's probably on 50IU of HGH a day and needs all of the calories he can get.
-
it was a simple miss judged kick, they are risking their bodies everytime they enter the ring.
Bret is fine with goldberg, check here:

Especially when they bill people like roman reigns to be 265lbs and cena 250lbs, cena is way bigger than roman

Please. 5000 kcal day in day out is certainly possible.

golberg is a lame ass piece of shit, who takes it up the ass from vince mcmahon for some quick cash, i hope brock goes off script and puts a beat down on him
-
Heard nobody liked to wrestle with Goldberg because he was dangerous in the ring. His technique sucked and thought he was a bad ass. Heard the Undertaker don't take kindly to disrespect and set the fake Jew straight
-
aaaannnddd yet you haven't done it yet...?
Why do you think I have not done this? I probably averaged 5000 kcal per day over the past 10 years.
-
Did you see him yesterday against Rusov? He fucked up his move in the beginning. Rusty as all hell. Plus did you see him standing face to face with Rusov? Goldberg is small.
-
Why do you think I have not done this? I probably averaged 5000 kcal per day over the past 10 years.
Because you wrote "its certainly possible" which to me indicated that it could be possible if someone tried it.
So big boy, what are your current stats?
what training do you do, what do you do for a living, how much cardio do you do?
-
Why do you think I have not done this? I probably averaged 5000 kcal per day over the past 10 years.
If true, you must be a fat fuck

Yes he had one move to do and royally fucked it up. Was hoping Rusev would crush him. The spear on Hayman looked like shit too.

I love the fact that there are still a tremendous amount of people that think this is real. Even after decades of people (professional wrestlers included) saying it's all choreographed and predetermined.

when was that?
You wrote earlier you had been eating 5000 cals every day for the last ten years.
are you expecting people to accept you were on 5000 cals in that pic?

A few years ago but I haven't made any progress for the past 5-6 years anyway.
I have a crazy fast metabolism. I was dieting when that pic was taken so probably at around 3000 kcal but even at 5000 kcal I'm still very lean,
I never ever get fat. Those calories mostly don't come from clean food so it's pretty easy to get that much in without stuffing yourself every day.
There are people with a medical condition who have to consume like 10.000 kcals just to maintain their 150lbs bodies because their metabolism is way too fast. I'm just not that extreme but my body still burns a lot of energy. This has always been the case even before I used steroids but I'm sure the aas and all the lean muscle mass I put on over the 14+ years of training play a role in this too.
Believe it or not, I know it's true :)

The Warrior was also said to have bad technique. Silverstein would be eaten alive by a prime TankAbbott.
Don't know how much is fact or fiction.

Do you have an over active thyroid?
If not then your metabolism is pretty much the same as anyone else your height weight and muscle mass.
There are no such things as super fast metabolisms, some people eat less and move more than others, some move less and eat more, its that what makes up body composition.
If Zach Khan can gain on 4000 calories max then anyone can.
If you are eating that much and not getting fat then you have a shit digestive system, your body isnt utilising what goes in and you shit it out before its used or stored as fat.
Im like that, I can shit out food as it went in, mushrooms are a favourite.
what have you eaten today?
-
Not small by a long shot and doest look small next to rusev either.
I do think they've rushed this though, should've given goldberg more time to prepare before he's doing physical stuff and built up to it.

what have you eaten today?
Yes my thyroid is slightly over-active but that's not the only determining factor when it comes to energy output.
I do not agree with your statement that everyone's metabolism is the same, that's just so wrong.
Just because Zhack Khan can gain on 4000 kcal does not mean anyone can. I know a guy who eats like a snickers and a pizza per day so maybe 1500 kcal on average per day with about 50g of protein per day at most and he looks great while I could never gain muscle on 1500 kcal.
It could very well be that my digestive system is not very efficient, I've always wondered about this too, to be honest. My shit looks pretty well digested though, I can tell you that :D
What I ate today ? I did not keep an exact log for today since it's a holiday and I'm just being lazy the whole day eating junk food... on days like this I often reach way more than 5000 kcal but many people doubt me when I tell them what I eat in a single day until they actually see it with their own eyes ;) They think there is no way that I can stay ripped all year round while shoveling down ice cream, cakes, junk food, chocolate... etc. in huge amounts.

You can tell when Goldberg is lying. His mouth moves.
It's pro wrasslin'. They're all full of themselves, which is to say, full of crap.

so, you have an over active thyroid and not a fast metabolism, glad we cleared that up.
You should seek some treatment for that.
I also knew you wouldn't post what you ate, reason is you totted it up and realised it was nowhere near what you thought.
People who claim 5/6000 cals a day seldom come anywhere near that.
Oh, and the pic you posted as a result of 3000 cals as opposed to 5000 clearly shows that if you were in shape at 3000 then eating 5000 would make you very fat in a few months and eating 3000 cals you would never have held onto that muscle if you have an overactive thyroid that burns off 5000 so easily.
Its not even convenient to eat so much food, most people who work dont have the time to eat all that every single day.
-
Did you forget what number 1 was during your posting? yet continued with 3?
No mistake. I'm calling bullshit twice.

Well an over active thyroid results in a faster metabolism .. so yes I do have a fast metabolism although my thyroid is not the only factor for that.
No need for treatment since my thyroid hormone levels are still considered to be within the "normal" range just at the upper end.
I keep track of everything I eat (except for cheating days where I just eat whatever I want .. which often actually results in less calories than on a regular day) in a logfile and I have been doing this for nearly 10 years and trust me I can count. If you really want me to I can post a few days out of my logfile but it will be in German but you can clearly see that I'm certainly averaging 5000 kcal per day.
I do lose muscle when dieting just like pretty much everyone so of course I can't hold onto everything with less calories but it's not like I'm close to starving on 3000 kcal although I'm still very lean at 5000 kcal. I'm sure that the more calories your body gets the less efficient it becomes.. so even though I'm able to maintain quite a bit of muscle at 3000 kcal or even 2000 kcal does not mean I will get fat at 5000 kcal although I'm sure it would be the case for most people.
It's certainly not convienent to eat that much food and I don't think it's a gift to be honest - when I started working out my biggest problem was to get in enough calories to gain muscle. It would actually be pretty much impossible for me if I would be eating clean food all the time and at least 1500-2000 kcal are from shakes. My friends used to make fun of me since I would never leave the house without like 2 litres of chocolate milk with me.
I know tons of people who claim to eat huge amounts of food and not gaining weight and then when they really count their calories it's like 2500 or sth like that - but trust me I'm not one of those guys.

why didn't you just write down what you eat every day?
If you maintain your size on 3000 then eating 5000 will make you fat, you cant beat the laws of thermodynamics.

Yeah, anywhere from 2-8" exaggerations. Weight is unlimited. Bodybuilding exaggerates both as well. No competitor is measured or weighed before a professional competition. Oh well.
