Long story and rant coming up here so if you are not interested in a C level NPC bodybuilder and his cousin being exposed and confronted regarding being outed as the snitches and informants in a steroid bust by setting up over a dozen of their own friends then skip this thread entirely. Anyone who does follow the story I will posts numerous links to news articles, other message boards that talk about this rat, and I am going to name names—this rat put a lot of people in prison as a confidential informant and wants to still run around at gyms and bodybuilding shows like a celebrity because nobody seems to be aware of his treachery.
I was living in California for a few years when this all began, but people back on the East Coast (Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania) were contacting me about all these well known, good dudes being arrested in some big steroid sting. It was called “Operation Roadrunner,” and links to the news stories will be provided. A simple google search will provide plenty of info but in a nutshell all these guys were busted at multiple gyms, portrayed as steroid kingpins, after being set up by a confidential informant. The informant was George Koufalis a PA State Bodybuilding champion and NPC competitor. Ironically George was really bigger than everyone he set up, and either the cops he worked for are stupid or he convinced them he was the small fish in a shark tank when all the while he was the wholesale distributor all over PA and NJ. This known, common knowledge and anyone in any gym he went to (which there were many) knew he was the dealer to get you virtually any drug wholesale, at rock bottom prices.
I’m told by someone caught in his web that he began working as an eager, volunteering informant (no cops even had to ask let alone pressure him) when he got caught with a few ounces of coke and a gun. Instead of getting a lawyer and fighting the charges like a man, he offered all his own friends and customers up as sacrifices. He did no jail time, got off scott free while all of his friends, customers and workout buddies went down hard as if they were the suppliers. I also suspect he’s a member or lurker here because I made a thread awhile ago naming him because he’s trying to set up guys again in local gyms and my thread is removed.
His cousin is just like him, a would-be Mr. Olympia, walk around like a killer gangster but known to have cooperated and identified people for the king rat George Koufalis to set up. His name is Carl, and I have known both of these guys from gyms and such since I was a teen and so I was called a few years ago by his wife who told me what these two had done. For that offense he broke her nose, she got a restraining order and divorce and as soon as he’s out of jail he beats her up again, in public and goes back to jail. Before he did though I called him just to ask him where his head was at. Not to white knight or insert myself, just to ask him why his cousin is setting all their friends up, why he’s feeding him names to set up and why is he beating this broad so bad? So he cursed me out, threatened my life, let me know how lucky I am to be on West Coast, and on and on. I simply hung up after telling him “one day I’ll see you again and know the fight has already started on sight. Put your hands up and swing first or I will.”
I moved back to PA like 3 years ago, never saw him but the king rat—George Koufalis was/is a member of the local gym I joined. Guys kept talking about him offering illegal goods and I warned anyone who mentioned this about his history and you might as well turn yourself in if you got anything from this guy. So now he sells some bullshit supplements and shirts at gyms and last night there they sat together, at a table like royalty, flexing and bragging and acting like no one knows or cares that one is a woman beating felon and snitch (who threatened my life) and the other is an informant who sent all of his friends and customers to jail to save his own ass. I’m no tough guy and haven’t even been in a fight in years because I’ve matured and mellowed out. But this was just too much.
The story ends that I went to the table told the cousin (Carl) outside right now with me and you know what it is for. He’s following me outside with the king rat, his girlfriend and some little posse of groupies. BOOM he remembers it’s me, and that he threatened my life and what was going to happen and tried to turn back inside. I ran over and caught up to him in the front lobby and slapped him so hard in the mouth he bounced all over. It was actually so hard every person (and there were 30-40 people gathered) swore I punched him. He wouldn’t fight, wouldn’t come outside, started making a scene like he was some poor innocent guy instead of a guy who has 60-70 lbs of muscle on me easy, is a convicted felon who did state time, is still running with the king rat George who sent all these guys to prison, beat his wife into the hospital and threatened to kill me if he saw me.
The best part was the snitch George Koufalis was screaming at the girl at the front desk to call the cops. So I called him on it in front of the ever growing crowd, that yes I hit his boy and what did he want to do about it because I’d hit him next. I announced to everyone that of course George would scream for the cops, because he’s a fuckin snitch and informant and likely has his handlers on speed dial. He had no response and was definitely embarrassed. Why no one else wants to even mention what he is and did is confusing and as others have said (in threads I will provide links to) guys like him snitch on anyone and everyone and run around in public like hot shit because so many people are too cowardly to even whisper his name. I’m naming him, and if him or anyone he had remove threads about him before reads this, he knows EXACTLY who I am, and I’ll go outside, inside or anywhere he wants should he grow some balls and have a problem with what I did, said or am posting now. I’m outing him as a snitch and a coward who was crying for a female to call the cops because the combined 500lbs of muscle these guys have to my whole 175 lbs must be terrifying. Fuck this guy and I hope anyone who was there knows not to buy anything or even talk to this punk or they might go to prison.

I don't juice, but I don't agree with the steroid laws .
I sure as hell wouldn't turn the cops on to any gym bros that were juicing.

This happened in Philly about 5-6 years ago. Huge steroid ring. Some involved were Philly cops. A few went to jail for 5-10 years, but most dropped dime and reduced their jail time by 50%.

Depends on the crime:
In THIS case, there really isn't a victim who was hurt by any steroid dealing actions.
In my opinion, leave 'em alone and don't tell the cops.
However, if it was a murder or child molester type of crime, then by all means ,turn them in, asap.

I believe this chase against steroids has more to do with taxes not being collected, than social degradation/robberies issues.
In my country junkies steal from their own mothers for a fix, destroy families. You don't see this happening in steroid users, besides a very random episode of violence.

Boggles my mind how western governments are taking steroids as seriously as hard drugs, when its essentialy normal folks taking them for cosmetic purposes.
Got a pretty similar case where i train where a well known competitor got busted (snitched by someone). He apparently ratted a few people too. Got away with a big fine and a ban from all gyms (yes you read right he cannot get a membership in any gym now).

Don't snitches have "heart attacks" and fall into swimming pools? Fuck, I read the bust story and knew all of these assholes through a mutual friend. They sold more than steroids. If anything, steroids were the least profitable items for them.

The following is not completely related to the subject matter ... but is more related to what some GetBiggers have posted under this topic with regards to taxes and their concern of 'should it be a felony'?
And it may give you a slight idea of how steroids got to be a serious crime within the good old USA.
In my day, you could buy roids as easy as buying a pack of gum from any pharmacy in the country.
But the following may give you a slight idea of why you no longer can and why you can be incarcerated.

And the fact that a couple of Southern California weight-related individuals ran a big steroid 'manufacturing and sales' business without any need to pay any taxes pertaining to their endeavors .... was one of the small things that got some interest among those in higher governmental authority.
But it was't until some politician's son didn't make the football team (possibly at the US Naval Academy?) and complained to his dad that he was too small because everyone else was taking steroids (my words, not his ... but close enough) that the first major step was taken by that politician to make steroid use a crime.
That politician introduced the 'problem' to whomever and wherever you introduce these potential illegalities ..... and discussions were heard from anyone who wanted to debate the issue, but those who were on the legal steroid-usage side remained silent..... so the anti-steroid masses won and many users (apparently 'selective users')went to jail and still do at this present time.
It is interesting to note that the AMA (AMERICAN MEDICAL ASSOCIATION) for some long forgotten reason was the only major force which took issue against the 'classification' of roids as a felony.
Those of whom I expected to speak up in the defense of roid use and roid users remained silent .... and if memory serves me well ... it was Titus who was the first to suffer the consequences long before he burned that car in the desert.
(The very first could have been someone else but I knew Titus so I give him the honor of that historical endeavor.)
So now an estimated 20% of American citizens are subject to incarceration. (20% is only my estimate, but it could definitely be much more.)
All of the above is based on my limitd recollection. But I will recommend LEGAL MUSCLE by Attorney Rick Collins if you want the facts straight from the horse's mouth and not the other end.

I'm not doubting what the OP is saying because I don't have any information about this either way but where is the proof that the guys he named "ratted" or informed? Is there any record of them testifying against anyone? Copies of any affidavits where they implicated anyone? I haven't read the articles but do any of them mention cooperating witnesses and what their identities are? Also, while the OP isn't shy about mentioning names he doesn't provide his own (at least as far as I know).

SORRY, but I have to ask a question as a result of someone mentioning Oxy's up above someplace.
Until recently I've never taken anything stronger than an aspirin, but due to some minor surgery I was given a OXY prescription (a shitload of OXYs) and the doctor half way seriously told me not to give them or sell them to anyone.
I half jokingly asked him what the street value of each OXY pill would be and he stated, "Anywhere from $30 to $90 each."
Was he serious or ..... ?
And on two separate occasions I was given morphine injections which had no effect on my pain level in the least.
Is that possible or was the morphine dosage possibly just too weak?
And one other antibiotic (prescribed) made my taste buds super sensitive. Every bit of food I ate tasted 10X stronger than normal.
Is all this shit normal? If so....I'm glad I've never been a druggie.
