Almost went a full year without meat, but had some dinner with friends two weeks ago... Guess the counter starts again.

Meat is not needed at all.  Total myth that you need it to build or maintain muscle.  Your intestines and colon will thank you as well.  At the very least, everyone should be cutting their meat consumption way down.

I go on vegan stints for a few weeks every 4 months or so, just as a detox so to speak, I actually like it and probably will transition to this diet later in life, only draw back for me is the gas from the beans.

Not interested in the meat/no meat argument, but now that the election campaigning is finally over, it would be good to highlight just what a completely shitty job the media did for the last year or so.

Not just the US media, the entire fucking world's mainstream media is a joke. I hope more and more people wake up to this. I'm glad the mainstream media has shit all over it's face right now.

Whether Trump does or doesn't make a good president, I really hope the media back off a little and give him a chance to prove himself and give the public the space to form its own opinion.
