The Bodybuilding Legends Show is back! Check out my interview with 1970's and 1980's Bodybuilding Legend Roger Walker. Roger talks about his contest history, competing against the best bodybuilders in the world in the 1970's, his thoughts on the 1980 and 1981 Mr. Olympia - http://www.floridaphysique.com/bodybuilding-legends---roger-walker

Drain the swamp!!
-
Never heard of the guy.
-
Never knew he was a bodybuilder. I got into some of his music. Too depressing. It's almost like you need to drop acid to listen to. I really have no clue why everyone goes crazy for them either. I remember going to see the movie in 1979. I got up in the middle of it and walked out. I like the song...but the movie sucked.
-
You're welcome, glad you liked it. Roger definitely doesn't hold back in his opinions.
-
Reminds me of Phil Collins. ;D
-
You see him a little bit in Pumping Iron.

You're thinking of Roger Waters. This was the bodybuilder from Wales in Pumping Iron broseph.
-
Hey John how old is Roger?
-
You see him a little bit in Pumping Iron.
I have the clip from the movie included in the interview.

Thanks John, I like these interviews you and others do with the "oldtimers", just subbed to your channel.
-
Awesome John, thanks. Was hoping you hadn't ended this series since I enjoy it a lot.
Try and get Rory for an interview!

You getting mixed up with Paul Grant ? Roger is English. Or did you mean Muddy Waters?

roger waters is from Pink Floyd, I think you mean Roger Walker?
-
I could be wrong, but I believe Roger Walker was the guy who spearheaded Brexit.
-
Good interview but I was surprised he thought he looked as good in '81 as he did in '80. He was clearly way down in size

When I first saw the Comeback, I couldn't believe that was the same guy that was runner-up to Waller in Pumping Iron. Dude went from the combover to the blonde perm job and appeared to be the mass monster on stage dwarfing everybody with the front relaxed pose
-
Enjoyed that interview. Is Roger implying that Arnold and Paul were a gay couple? Seems to be a heavy innuendo that homosexuality was behind the whole Australian debacle. Even old Oscar State fiddling the voting to make Ben the President in 1975 when it should have been Serge?
Great stuff. :D

You're right, I was mistaken. I meant David Gilmore.

roger walker.

I think you will find it was Gary Gilmour who was shot by firing squad, not David.

I think it was Gary Glitter who should have been shot by firing squad....

No, that wasn't what he meant.

Yeah, I agree with you. He looked at his best in 1980. He was really good in '79 too.
-
No, that wasn't what he meant.
Fair enough. It was just that Roger said that Paul and Arnold were more than just friends. I wonder what he really meant.

In the book "Fantastic", it says that Graham and Arnold were sharing an apartment in 1968 when Arnold moved to California. Graham was arrested for importing stolen cars from the U.S. to Australia. Arnold may or may not have been involved according to the book but Paul went to jail for the offense.

Thanks, yes I guess Roger was implying a business relationship rather then just friendship.
Your interviews with these guys are fantastic, I've watched every one and they are much appreciated.
