I've been coming to the board on and off for the past 4 years or so. I (surely along with others) come to this board to look for some assistance, maybe some guidance and to share and hear experiences. But as of late it seems like whenever I post or read other posts, the replies are no longer genuine. It seems as though getting a straight answer is like pulling teeth. I posted a thread and noted a mistake that I had made, I was aware I made this mistake and came to this board to look for the proper way to correct it. Meanwhile I wind up getting replies telling me how stupid a mistake I made...........I AM AWARE, I CAME TO THIS BOARD FOR HELP....THANKS!!!
Maybe it's gotten to the point where just about every question asked has been asked 1000 times already and people are fed up with repeating themselves??? Just a thought...

I think it's that people come on here without any basic info on AAS and expect everyone to cater to them. It doesn't work that way. Half the questions people ask can be found on-line, even on google. That's why I think it's funny, some of the questions newbies ask.
Add to that the fact that people ask questions, I give them advice, then they do what they were going to do anyway. Then they come back and complain about why they have problems. In your case, you started a cycle without enough Testosterone to finish it, then wonder why people are giving you shit. Common sense.
You mean to tell me that someone on here told you to run a cycle when you didn't have enough Test to finish it, then wonder why people are giving you shit?
If you don't want people to call you on it, then why are you doing something so foolish?
That's the real question.
My replies are genuine. They just aren't what you want to hear so you (and others) get an attitude about it. That's too bad. That's life.

I've used this board numerous times with positive results. Actually the majority of info taken off this board was from you Div. So to you I tip my hat. I don't have problems taking shit and I believe I handle critisizm very well. YES I SCREWED UP, I DIDN'T HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO COMPLETE THE CYCLE. So I bought what I could with the intent on buying more. There is no question that I messed up and I admitted. I came to the board for help with fixing my screw up and I got told that I screwed up. I know I did... and that's what pisses me off.
To add to this thread, I went to the board that shoes pictures of members. The one fat guy trained for a year, clearly lost weight, still looked like crap, but looked better than he did a year prior and he got abused. Don't get me wrong, I laughed my ass off at some of the comments. But in all honesty, the guy came and posted because we proud of his achievements and he got bashed..... Just makes me wonder what direction this board is going in sometimes...

Anyone who has been here for any amount of time knows that people who post pics will be ridiculed, even if they look decent. Even IFBB Pros get ridiculed on this forum. It's a no-win situation. For that reason alone, it's probably not the best idea, unless you know going in that you are going to take a beating. I don't advocate posting pics anyway, for legal reasons. If you do AAS, do you really want some anonymous cop to see your face? Even if you black out your face, is it worth the risk.
Ron is aware that people get bashed, but you can't censor people in this type of forum, otherwise this would be Muscle Mayhem. That's not the type of board I would participate in. A bunch of people kissing each other's ass for what?
GetBig is about free speech......and some people take it too far, but that's the price you pay for the ability to say what you want.
As far as the AAS forum goes.....I mainly delete shit that violates the rules. Usually it's source posting, instigating bullshit or threads that have nothing to do with AAS.
Supplements and training have their own forums.

There are an unusual number of negative posters on this board in general, and I think overall it hurts the reputation of the board. I have seen several references to this written by Pro's who contribute to Muscular Development. It's basically one of the main reasons I stopped contributing to the Injury and Rehab board, where I can honestly say I have a high level of expertise.
It's a shame, really.

It is a shame. The people who have the most to offer get tired of being ridiculed and insulted when all they are trying to do is help.
I am a retired Rehabiltation Therapist who worked in a hospital with severly handicapped patients for many years. I once offered some advice and got flamed by some ignorant clown who couldn't name three bones in the human body if his life depended on it. That did it for me, there is a saying about "throwing pearls before swine" that comes to mind.
I know some say Marble left because he got married, moved or got a new job. I think the real reason was because he got tired of trying to help unappreciative morons. If you leave Freak, or Div. or Arnie for that matter, this board will have little to offer except as a forum for internet tough guys and haters.
Thanking someone and letting them know you apprecite their effort is not my idea of kissing ass. Its called common courtesy and GRATITUDE!

yup even here in this paticular forum it has taken a downward shift, for one most people come in here and never even read the stickies on top first, this alone would take care of most of the same post problems... then after researchin the site someone could ask for a little more help, also i think alot of people tell it straight in steroids info and hardcore b/c it is a serious matter, this isnt just some drama starting , goofin around forum here.... and some people take offense at that b/c there not babied

You're right, the negative posting here has gotten to be a bit much...it is a shame. Hopefully for the sake of those who come here for "real" purposes, these douche bags will eventually leave or just get bored with, well, being douche bags. But then again, maybe they want leave. Some people seem to thrive on making ass's out of themselves and being as retarded as they can be.

I agree to a certain extent, Freaker, but how would you aim to change that? People are going to post what they want to post. I think some pros have a point, but most of them are so thin-skinned that they let every lil' comment get to them. Lee Priest, for all his talk of being the outsider in the IFBB still gets miffed when people bring up his KFC binges or the fact that he's 5'3. When you are at the top, people are going to rip on you. It's the nature of the game. Nothing changes.

I skim here occasionally. But it gets old when you already know the bottom line answers are nearly always, "That's already been discussed! Go find it yourself!" In reality, hasn't most everything been discussed here at one time or another, in some form or fashion?
I don't expect this post to be received well, and possibly not even posted, but I understand what defensive responses are usually signs of.

Everything has been discussed, but most of the questions being asked are by newbies who want to be spoonfed. I'm not going to answer those questions anymore. If it's that big of a deal, they'd PM me anyway, like most do.
This isn't my job and I'm not being paid to do this. I answer the questions I want, and discard the ones I don't. That's how it works. It's not that I don't want to help people, but the same questions over and over that I've already answered is a waste of my time.
That's how it is. If you don't like it, no one is forcing you to be here.
