Title: NXT Takeover show & Survivor Series PPV in Toronto....
Post by: Playboy on November 21, 2016, 10:29:54 AM
Hey all,

I was at both of these show. Lets start with Survior Series...15,000 sellout.

I was second row ringside behind the announce table...over all slightly above average at best. Lot of slips by certain wrestlers (including females) that were obvious slacks. Orton's RKO out of no where on Seth Rollins was unreal...great timing on both their parts.  8)

Expected a little more out of A.J.Styles like his corkscrew jumps, etc. Shane McMahon got legitamtely hurt on his coast to coast dive when he was speared out of no where by Roman Reigns. When the action spilled out and the cameras focused on the action out of the ring, medics ran in the ring to help Shane.

Don't even get me started on the cruiser weights....  ::)

Ladies were decent. Charlotte was great. Crowd disappointed that Sahsa Banks was eliminated quick..i'm guessing she's still hurt with her bad back.

Main event was built up large, I had Goldbergs wife and son 10 feet away from me. Disappointed a lot of fans who wanted to see at least a 15 minute brawl here. 2 spears, a jackhammer and a pissed off crowd...  >:(

At least I got to mingle with Jojo and JBL before the show started...Michael Cole was serious all night.

Saturday nights NXT show....

I sat in the 100 level with a sick view...what a great pleasure it was to watch these deserving talents. NXT is comprised of talents from NJPW, AJPW, GFW, TNA, other independands and or ROH. They are no longer home growing talents that will turn into an epic fail.

Robert Roode and Ty Dillanger where amazing! What a great match...like watching Savage - Steamboat with all the close near falls. Sick entrance on Roodes part. Samoa Joe vs Nakamura ... all I have to say is wow...wow...wow...sick entrace with the violins by Nakamura, amazing wrestling / brawling match with lots of near falls. Crowd ate it up...great ending. Mickey James still looks delicious and can wrestle. Asuka was unbelievable...great shoot fight gimmick.

NXT tag title match was unreal...watching DYI vs The Revival was like watching the Midnight express vs the rock & roll express. Great classic tag wrestling that was fast paced.  Paul Ellering has introduced a team called the Authers of Pain...a great team with a phenomenal future.

Overall, this was one of the best shows I have ever attended. Exciting, a sellout of 12,000 and the crowd really ate it up. I recommend to all of you hard core wrestling fans on this board that really appreciate good wrestling to start watching and following NXT.
