I don't want to use...and pretty much don't have enough time left to tan in a solarium; other than Dream Tan, are there any good competition tanning products that will get you dark enough without having to pre-tan?

Pro Tan has worked for me...  But you'll need probly' 4 coats of it, really letting it dry between applications but not being afraid to shower.  Plus, avoid clumping by going to a craft store for soft sponge brushes.  It's what has worked for me, being sorta' fair myself...

Go to a place that will air brush you.  Its worked for me for a decent dark tan.  After a few days of reaplying it can be very dark.  And its uniform no streaks.  Dont use the machine that sprays you.  Go to a place where an acutual person sprays you. Its the general thing used by physique models in magazines now too.
