It's not what you think.  The room was ablaze.  There were photos and memorabilia that had taken years to amass.  In a valiant effort to salvage all he could for posterity, our Great Leader was overcome.  If this brave, lovely, and thankfully fit young lady hadn't burst through the door and carried the helplessly limp Mr Avidan to safety?  I shudder.
