Arthur's haircut is the best. I may rock that over the holidays.

i wont watch it because it has a silly title.

Not kidding - that was the reason it took me so long to check it out.
The nice thing is seasons are only 6 episodes, so it keeps the story moving and there's no "filler" episodes.

If it was good I would feel stupid saying "peaky blinders" to people so would never recommend it.

Peaky Blinders=Eyes blind.
The original gang use to stitch razor blades into the brim of their caps. when the got into a fight they would head butt the person in the face with the cap or take it off and whip the other person across the face with it.

I just finished it. Last season is a bit shit in parts due to quite a few plot holes and some dodgy directing (e.g. the Hollywood-cliché bar confrontation at the start). But, accept it for what it is and it's awesome. They really created this sense of foreboding throughout, and built up to an amazing finish. I loved the final episode. I'll try to avoid giving spoilers but the ruthlessness of Arthur and Jeremiah in dealing with a pair of c*nts was so fucking cool. It was a great nod to what the survivors of World War One endured.

I’m glad I saw this thread and it reminded me to watch. I saw the first two episodes and then went on vacation and totally forgot. Thanks Calvin.

Then he realized he was on the Jets...
But, those are the types of guys that win you championships. You just need a bunch of them, all buying in at the same time.

“By order of the PEAKY FOOKIN BLINDERS!!”

Great show.
Never was interested until i saw it was given good reviews.
Watched all the seasons about 6 months ago.
It does have amazing acting and writing.
Always leaves you hanging and not too predictable.
I'd recommend anyone to at least watch the first season.

The fact that it has only 6 episodes per season makes it great - no wasted scenes.
Alfie's exchange with Tommy in season 3 about his son might have been the best acted 5 minutes that i've seen on TV ever.

Yeah i found all episodes except maybe 3-4 to be crucial to the plot, nothing wasted or boring. Always something happening.
I like how it didn't transition in time too much except the war flashbacks. It was directed like a novel.
Tom Hardy did an insane acting job here, he was by far the best talent on the show.
Lots of twists to keep things fresh.
