Rammstein. U can watch a 2 hour concert of those maniacs in one sitting without even knowing any of the songs and it's sheer entertainment :D

Rammstein is fine but best live band does not go to a band that uses that much sequencer and click track.

The G&R use your illusion tour with Pearl Jam opening. Was fucking epic.

ACDC were great live in Dublin
-
In terms of all round show probably K.I.S.S.
Kraftwerk put on a fantastic live. Those 4 guys are just standing there at their electronics for the entire show, but the visuals and the light show combined with the music is great.

Not to be used in same sentence ever again... Pearl Jam = Libtard whining political crap music... Maiden = One of the best bands ever...

Radiohead
I saw the Rolling Stones in 1989. Steel Wheels Tour. Atlantic City. Eric Clapton, Slash, Axl and Shannon Hoon show up to play a 12 inch version of Knockin' on Heaven's Door.
I was in awe for a month.
-
radiohead is for f-aggots

Haha ;D, Sorry but both bands put on great shows!

The Outlaws circa 1978. If you look at YouTubes of the great rock anthems, none can match this:
-
thats way too much guitar masturbation for one show.

This Rory Gallagher led trio was phenomenal:
-
Van Halen.
-
Andrea Bocceli and Sarah Brightman. Sure not flashy but their voices in person was just magical. No homo.
-
I saw Sigur Rós live. Didn't think I would enjoy it one bit, as Icelandic music is not anything I was familiar with. But holy hell, it was hypnotic music. I became a fan overnight.

-
Queen
Queen in 1974 at the Erlanger theater in Philly. Only about 2500 seats Shear Heart Attack had just come out. Amazing.

Has anybody been to/seen the "Book of Souls" show of Iron Maiden? Worth going?

Yes. Nice set list, the band sounds great as always but especially Bruce sounds amazing. It's crazy when you consider that just last year he finished 7 months of radiation and chemotherapy and recovered from throat cancer.

Best Live Band ever ... Really ?!?!? ::)
How many time do I have to tell you !!!
AC/DC in their original line up with the legendary Bon Scott is the best Live Band ever !!!

I saw Sigur Rós live. Didn't think I would enjoy it one bit, as Icelandic music is not anything I was familiar with. But holy hell, it was hypnotic music. I became a fan overnight.
I was in an independent record store around 2004.
I was perusing some jazz, some punk and a really cute alternative chick starts chatting me up.
We talk about music and she says to me: "Have you heard of Sigur Ros?"
Me: "No, are they good? What are they like?"
Her: "They absolutely rock!! They are nothing like you have heard before."
She was right on the second part, but not on the first. I would hardly say that they "rock". I am a big fan, however.
I was with a girl in that shop that I have been friends with since I was 2 years old. Every time she sees me (which isn't very often these days) she says: "Yo, Sigur Ros rocks!!!" while holding up the rock fingers.
-
if theyre not rock they dont rock.

4) Rival Sons, Hollywood 2014. You haven't heard of them and you probably won't. Best band since Zep, even better live. THE shit, bar f'n none. Jay Buchanan is a modern Plant/Vedder - today's absolute Golden God of Rock.
A band I mentioned here several years ago, The London Souls, have opened for Rival Sons and will be doing so again this spring:
