He had an interesting method of training that Mike Mentzer copied. He split his body in two days. One day was thighs, chest and tricep. The next was back, delts and bicep. On Monday he would do day one. Wednesday was day two of the split. On Friday he would do Monday's split again. Next week he would start with Wednesday's split. So everything week was alternated. Either two days or one day of direct work. Mentzer copied the same exact split. Calta called it rotation for recuperation.
