Ok, but Status Quo guitarist and George Michael both "made" before this year ended.
Didn't really care about their music. George had some huge hits that you had to hear if you didn't live in a barrel somewhere.
I really thought that Queen would take him as their replacement singer but chose that awful Paul Rodgers.

Hate to say it but 2016 isn't done yet. 2 to 1 Princess Leia, AKA Carrie Fisher won't make it to 2017.
And probably a few others as well. One sad thing about getting older (among other things) is that you live long enough to see all your childhood heroes and friends and family leave this earth..
