How about if he didn't have a bunch of drugs in him? I listened to a bit of Stan's stuff on "nutrition". He seems like a nice guy but the only secret that has not been much of a secret for a few decades now is drugs. That's all the difference there is and will continue to be because people not only want it now, then want more of it now.

I agree. I've moved past the point in life where I will heap praise on someone for their physique when it's obvious they've been on steroids for decades. But as you stated, he seems like a nice guy so I wish him well.

Whether he's a pro or not is irrelevant. He's still all drugs. He'd have nowhere close to the amount of muscle mass he has now without the drugs. Also, statistically speaking, only a small percentage of men take steroids. So you might be able to assume that lots of men could achieve the level of muscle mass Efferding has if they took the dosages he takes. I don't mean to sound like a pessimistic dick, I just Am not going to praise a guy like him for his physique. But I also won't say he sucks either. If he's happy then I wish him well.

Is taking pain killers for a bad back / headache / toothache cheating as its not Natural - They are drugs
Is having anesthetic when having a tooth out / operation in hospital cheating as its also not Natural - More drugs.
Is Drinking coffee / beer / or smoking cheating as these are also drugs
Oh - Let me Guess only by taking PED's when lifting or in sport are you suddenly cheating & its not Natural.
All other uses of Drugs are fine & dandy Then..???

Stan is the most knowledgeable guy out there for everything nutrition/training/drugs. If you listen to his rhino rants you will figure this out quick with his life stories and experience. What do you guys expect from him some Boston Lloyd tell all about drugs? Geez the guy has a family, will take time to talk to you, and is strong as shit regardless of drugs. He has a degree in exercise science, has had monthly blood tests for years to correlate what he takes with how it affects him, and doesn't sell supplements (just his cooler). He knows his shit.
I've met him twice and he's a good dude, gave me some advice I had never heard before.

Your argument is pointless. The progression of bodybuilding is a direct consequence of the limited entertainment value it provides. Bodybuilding does not have enough variance to sustain itself, if drug use were controlled. You know this. You may rage as much as you desire, this is not a sport and it does not have a strong enough narrative to ever be anything more than a physical manifestation of people experimenting on their own bodies. When the bodies start giving out on people (in their prime), that's when we'll see it die, or go to the regulated, but less followed version that it is destined to be.
