Un-freakin-believable
Delusional comes from a Latin word meaning "deceiving." So delusional thinking is kind of like deceiving yourself by believing outrageous things. Delusional thoughts are often a sign of mental illness, but the word can also be used more loosely to describe behavior that is just not realistic.

This will be the true legacy of Obama.
He could have made a speech on day one that race was normalizing - told people to stop being victims, to get along, go to school, get jobs and pay taxes, stop drugs, shooting each other, raise their kids....one speech would have moved mountains but he used the issue for his own political capital and to keep people right where they were. Shameful really.
I know that the issue as a whole is not that simple but words have strong meaning from a place of power and a person with a background like this.

Dude, he is crazy. He is a lying bastard. He lives in a bubble and is obviously in over his head. He seems to have an unending amount of time, for a president, to go on national TV shows, special appearances, campaign for his party's candidate, and engage in the lamest photo session exercises since the supermodel years (stolen glances, pinch of the butt, et cetera).
I see it unfold and... I dunno, am I the only one going "seriously??!!!"
He reminds me of the lunacy that had engulfed Hitler in the Spring of 1945 (when in the bunker) and expressing his belief, to his generals, that the war could still be won.
He thinks he is Don Cornelius and the White House is his Soul Train.
