I know my routines. I don't know how I'll feel tomorrow which affects how much weight I can push.

Epic truth right here.

One can only project tomorrows workout poundages.

are you mentally weak in the gym, as long as you got a good night sleep why would you not feel good to lift heavy.

Sleep helps for sure as does getting fired up. If you've had a taxing day at work or are not in the peak of health, it can affect your workout. Just showing up at the gym is a step in the right direction. Once there, no matter how shitty you feel, you will most likely still work out. At least that has been my experience.

i guess the goal change with age.

at some time its about maintaining and thats a success on its own if one can do that.

but.

for us younger guys we need to set the bar higher, eventually we will be happy just by holding on to what we got, but we cant give in to that this early in the game!!

You could get locked up for being that crazy!

haha thats how i feel!!

it doesnt take much these days for them to lock you up in the psychiatric ward and throw away the key, they just say you are a potential threat to others (or yourself)

i've seen that in some countries you can get arrested for being too big, what if that spreads worldwide? part of a PREVENTION program.

20 pounds

Well then, gaining the weight should be no problem for you as long as it is muscle and not fat. I think without chemical assistance, 10 pounds is achievable in a year.

well its not gonna be all muscle, 10 pounds would be more reasonable, but i think it's do-able, i think i can put on quite a lot on my legs for example.
it depends i guess how close you are to your limit, luckily, im nowhere near mine.

Yes you do, jump to the leg extensions, back machine, bicep machine and do a few reps making sure to stop before failure because its too painful them  borrow the resistance band from the old lady in the corner and do a few pulls  to finish your workout.

If you leg muscles are responsive, you can definitely add weight by developing them. On an average person both legs are 16.5 - 20% of their total bodyweight.

If you are not at your natty limit within 3 months of lifting you have horrible genetics and need a new hobby.

Had to taken the past cpl weeks off dudeto neck n back issues and a bit of food poisoning.

Dropped about 12lbs amdngotb5 of bags thurs/Fri. Wbc' were like 9.8 and albumin was like .2 low.

Plus my next n back have issues.

After a layoff, no matter how short, my first day back is always back.

Prolly start with pulldowns on a machine that's levers move in an arc. You spin the seat around so that the handles come down almost perfectly vertical not quite like a behind the neck pulldown... I forget the brand

Next is assisted chin machine pulling about 20-30lbs off bodyweigjt.

Then it's rev grip pulldowns sitting as far back on the seat as posible, big arch in the back with feet back with my toes down, not flat. Maybe 3 sets. (Ppl forget if your back iisnt arched and elbows in the front, you're lats
Dont engage properly and it becomes and upper back movement) ill do 4 sets or so, changing Grip width everybsetorb2. Last 2 ill go over had and scoot closer to yhebseat. After that I man his a few sets of biceps and foreArms.

Then its a pullover machine to "post" exhaust the lats. Like Dorian.

Then its 1 arm machine rows on an machine most similar to hammersttengths machin 3-4 sets with a set of2bands with a 2 set hold up top like hitting an class tree pose.

Then its seated row with a wide grip for the rhomboids (lower/mid back traps) before a cpl sets of medium grip rev grip rows. (Starting out, this was the first movt that got me ablenti "feel" my lats and get them to "pop".

My gym hasn't had a rear delt machine for a cpl months now so I got a do John Meadowns "face pulls". Maybe 4 sets if face pulls

No relxads yet timm my ankle heals (severe dislocation in june(?).

Then its shrugs in s smith machine.in do these kinda leaning bAck to hit the rhomboids a lil. Not as heavy as I used to. Maybe 6-...7platea side. Traps identify start to growntil I started using 750+ (w trt only... In prison). Then card... Oh then its hypers of r4them or12 or so.

 ... Fzzx_look

Just do some straight arm pulldowns as replacement if your gym doesnt have it

i went to the gym with the goal of increasing poundages on one of the exercises and i left with increased poundages of 3 of the exercises.

form is 100%

i feel it's just impossible to not grow as long as i keep doing this.

i listened to metallicas kill em all album and i think that helped as well.

yeah i just like that machine

Do you keep the weight load fairly modest on pull overs, concentrating on stretch and form? Modest on this machine can still be a fair about poundage, I've found.  This is interesting because the same is not true when doing them laying down on a flat bench.
