A TOPLESS waitress and her musclebound beau have faced court for allegedly importing 11.2L of liquid testosterone and 180 vials of human growth hormones after a two-year sting by the Australian Border Force.
Nateesha Jennifer Barlin and Dyllan Shaw, both aged 22, faced Woy Woy Local Court for the first time since their arrest in November.
It followed a two-year ABF operation in which investigators intercepted more than 17 consignments containing tier one prohibited performance and image enhancing drugs (PIEDs) between October 2014 and October 2016.
Among the consignments ABF officers seized 13,672 tablets, 11.2L of testosterone, 600ml of anabolic steroid, 195 vials of Somatropin, 120ml of Clenbuterol, 20 vials and 55 ampoules of human growth hormone and 102 capsules of Oxymetholone (Anesterone).
As a result of the seizures, ABF investigators conducted a series of raids at several properties across the Central Coast between November 7-11.
During the raids AFB investigators seized a further 12 litres of PIEDs, 100g of cannabis and 300 vials believed to contain human growth hormone.
Ms Barlin, whose occupation was listed on court documents as a vet nurse and topless waitress, was charged with one count of intentionally importing 200ml of anabolic steroids on February 25 last year at Warnervale.
The offence carries a maximum penalty of five years’ imprisonment or a fine of up to $180,000 or both.
Mr Shaw was charged with five counts of importing prohibited drugs including 11L of liquid testosterone, 170 vials of human growth hormones and five vials of steroids between February and October.
It will be alleged the drugs were destined for the black market.
He was also charged with obstructing a Commonwealth ABF official over the same period.
Neither of the accused, both of Jilliby, entered any pleas and their matters were adjourned to March 14.
Mr Shaw and Ms Barlin, whose conditional bail was continued, left court separately and declined to comment.
ABF Commander of immigration and customs enforcement Anthony Seebach said at the time of the operation the seizure of the drugs was another good example of the agency’s work to combat criminal activity.
“These drugs can have serious health impacts for users and the ABF is committed to protecting our community by stamping out the illicit importation of these dangerous drugs,” Commander Seebach said.
“If you import steroids or other performance and image enhancing drugs without a permit you’re breaking the law and you will face the consequences.”

Can't you read? The police statement clearly references the "serious health impacts" these drugs can have. Such as increased muscle, more sex appeal, more sex, more energy, drive and enthusiasm, etc. the brave LEOs in Australia saved the commonwealth from a scourge.
