He was never able to duplicate that look again or compete at a lower weight.

Jay Cutler said that he (Jay) could never quite duplicate the look that he had at the the Olympia in 2001. Every pro seems to have 1 showing that really stands out. Yates had it in 1993. So did Flex, at the 93 Arnold. Gunter had his year at the 2002 Olympia. Ruhl at the 2002 NOC. Bannount in 1983. Arnold in 1974. Haney in 1991.

Yup, Gunter fell fast. 2002 he was sharp and his quads were huge, but by '03 his legs were down and he looked slightly off. Then a continuing decline..

Sharper in '02. EDIT: Added '06 so you can see him in shape and how much quad size he lost. Still looked good but nowhere near '02.
