Title: Favorite Youtube Gymrat Channel?
Post by: FanBoi on January 27, 2017, 01:07:23 AM
I've been watching these four:

Ric Drasin
Rich Piana
James Tiny Vest
Jay Cutler TV

Are there any good ones I'm missing?

Ric Drasin is decent but he tends to repeat a lot of the same stories/etc. Any of the generation nothingness channels I avoid like the plague. Jerry Ward used to be decent but his channel went downhill in the last year or so...

It doesn't count as a gym rat but Athlean X is excellent.

They are all the all the same shit. I cant stand the way they yell and talk super fast, also its very rare to see any inovative stuff...
The bigger by the day series was fun stuff i must admit tho...
Other than some interviews/podcast with some really knowledgable coaches or nutrition expert its just garbage, i mean i cant afford to waste time watching a kali muscle video or some bullshit without any good information.
Its really a shame that the traditional bodybuidling medias arent putting any training videos anymore. Only dallas mc carver has his training videos up nowadays...

That's why you are out of shape and can't make any gains.

YouTube is shit for accurate information, and horrendous for showing really bad form.

Watching rich piana channel is a waste of time why would you want to watch a big oil bag walking around doing dumbshit, there is nothing to learn about proper steroid cycles, nutrition or training.

Honestly, maybe Elginintensity is the only guy I've actually gone looking for, and it's more for him goofing on people. Maybe I'm just getting older, but watching some guy lift weights, unless a record is being broken is just tedious. Most of the better strength coaches I've known over the years simply don't film their new work often enough to actively look for.

j

he does A LOT of weird things in general

i used to follow him on IG but I had enough of his constant yeezy flexing and (and this is super fucking weird) he would post pictures of him sleeping with his dog by his side

now, that really isn't weird...the weird thing is though is he was doing that thing where he pretends to be sleeping and takes a selfie of himself to make it look like someone else is taking the picture

isn't he like 50?!

you can go fuck yourself with those shitty channels
Guzman is an effeminate trust fund boy who steals ideas from other brands

Chris jones is a fat juice head who stole a protein drink from a gym he snuck into
They'll be bankrupt in a few years

Elgin is fine

I don't watch for training advice, but for entertainment.  I'm not entirely out of shape, and my gains are coming along fine.  -30 pounds in 8 months.  Would've been more, but I've increased muscle mass.  Resting heartrate in mid 50s bpm.

LOL!

His Lui Marco was spot on.

His impression of Kali Muscle, Calum, Vegan Grains et al were good too

All of them are so self absorbed and weird. Although I will admit to watching some of them from time to time.
Guzman is so materialistic, but he's doing really well for himself. Can't stand Bradley M, seems so fake. At least Calum competes.......

I would rather pour bleach in my eyes than watch Vegan Gains again. Same goes for Kali Muscle. He's out here in Vegas now and is beyond stupid. Much smaller than thought he would be too. Looks much bigger in his vids.
That Jerry Ward guy is super strange, the black dyed beard looks ridiculous. Acts like an old, bitter know it all....
