It's a crime what this personal trainer industry has had on the US.  Take a week internet course and get a certificate. Then anything that comes out of your mouth concerning training and dieting is Gospel.  Just bull shit.  I'll take advice from a 60 year old who is in shape without steroids who has trained for 45 years than advice from a steroid using 20 something living in his mom's basement.

That trainer that is telling the public how to train your butt looks like a long distance runner.  Hard to make generalities but most distance runners only use endurance as their measure of fitness.  Much like yoga devotees only care about flexibility.  Women should have fat on their butt and the woman in that video has none.

Do you notice in other sports you see obese people being coaches, you would think that if you are coaching an athletic cardiovascular activity you would at least try to get in shape.

The trainer is right. The squat is a shitty glute builder. Loom at all the emg research that bret contreras did.  The hip thrust and a few other movements are all thats needed.

Show me any ass-less woman who puts focus on deep squats.

Are there other effective glute builders? Sure they are, but that doesn't mean that deep(!) squats aren't effective for glute development.

Squats imo are %100 unnecessary for glute building.. far far more "easier" exercises available to builder a great ass, look at the women with ass that actually do squat a lot, they have extremely over developed Maximus and weak minimus.. hell I've squatted for 10 years and my ass haven't grown 1 inch lol

Squat is a great exercise, a full body exercise. And thats about it. It has its negative effect and it have its positive effect like everything else...

If your a dominant quad or glute or some other muscles squats will only increase the gap between dominant and weak muscles. If u have back problems etc its no good for you. If u want specific glute development there is better thing to do. Everything is about what u want...and the you chose the path to reach your goal.

My legs have become much better since I quit the squat and started to actually focus on my QUADRICEPS and inside legs and strict hamstrings.

What exactly are you doing differently now?...

I stopped squating 10 yr ago, been testing out the safety squat bar recently, feels good if you keep it light...

I do more sets, lots of more set. Strict lighter and with noice form (squeeze contract), start with like 30 set hamstring 45min. 8-10 set  in each machine (stiff deadlift, seated curl, standing curl, laying curl). Then warmed up. For quads I do seated one leg press, working my way up from lower weights to heavier, not max out set but plenty of set and some heavier in the end. Then lunges with barbell standing on 10inch box. Then about 10 set leg extension superset with inner thigh machine, nice strict 2sec squeeze. and the end 20minutes calves. Its not very hard actually bcz I don't do the heavy compound all body movement...but it take 2 solid hours every time...

I do this every 5-6th day or so. And between leg session I throw in some 10 minutes recovery leg 20 reps superset legcurl/extension to get the blood flow for about 6 set. And then I have one session cycling training (about 1h 20 minutes with different intervalls 1-5 minutes) every 5th day between legs.

Right training can do miracles...but most people doesn't understand this. They give up before the tried! I have seen some dramatic changes on people in the gym internet Instagram - girls that get obsessed. Even if your a natural flat ass girl with no arch, u can develop round lower nice ass. Learn to arch and there is a 10point ass right there. The great thing with these girls is that their nice firm ass will last for many years while the getto booty pop ass will look like shit later on in life. Im talking about those slim firm blond girls asses....

If a girl is quad dominant she should NOT do squats bcz the excessive will just make the tight bigger and ass smaller...all these girls need to focus on ass, just like all the ass dominant men need to focus on quads.

Genetics have nothing to do with muscle size.
Any healthy human can build big muscles with exercise, food and drugs, or a decently thick ass w/o drugs.
Show me a juiced up chick who works out her ass with squats and whatever else, who doesn't have a thick juicy ass.

I fucked a pretty-jacked fbb with a flat/tiny/muscleless ass once... she told me she didn't squat because she injured herself. I wasn't surprised.
Btw, I didn't give her a cent and it actually costed her (hi Halo ;D)
