I'm in mass,anyone else in New England area dealing with this crap?got about 12" and it seems to be over but I hate snow.Been a good winter so far until today.

Got smashed with a good foot of snow in CT. Sucks, you knew we weren't getting off that easy this winter though. Think we might get hit Sat and Mon too

Here out west we got lots of rain and a few houses sliding down the rain slogged hills.
Add a couple of earthquakes each year and it just about equals out to the living conditions back east.
Florida is great except for when those hurricanes hit and blow the homes away.
But ... Hawaii is just about perfect for everyone except for those Kaimainas who choose to live on the side of the volcano within a potential lava flow.
Even the tsunamis have been relatively calm lately.

I'm in Phoenix, AZ. No earthquakes. No houses sliding off hills. Yes it gets to be 110-115 at times but that's what air conditioners are for. I grew up in the snowbelt of upstate, NY. I will never go back. As far as I'm concerned, AZ is paradise. If the heat gets to me I go 2 hours north where it's 20-30 degrees cooler in summer.

I must move away from Boston soon. This place is a hell hole of arrogant ugly women who think they are brilliant because they got a masters in teaching from dog catcher university and criminal short punks. Suprisingly rife with jewbags too. Very segregated so not many nignogs.

In NYC, we got about a foot in certain areas, but as always, the city cleaned up pretty quickly.

Driving through the snow sucks, I'll give you that.
I like the fresh air and the sound blocking effect of snow.
I love driving in the big storms so headed out of my home office for an iced coffee at Dunks. :D Chatted with the cute woman at the drive through and enjoyed the trek home listening to sports radio.
Only down side was digging out a bathroom area for my Boston. It was well over her head.

Not sure how much we got, we're like 30 mins south of you AJ.
Im not a fan, the drive to work (hours in traffic), shoveling out 3 houses (mine, Ma's, Inlaws), worrying about the kids driving in it, etc.
But, I do work from home when I want (like all week this week), so I can clean up the mess at my leisure at least.
Pile-ups all over I-93, trucks flipped over, ejections, etc. Yeah, snow is fun. ::)

You may have seen the picture in the paper but a house six houses to the left of one of my family members got knocked down completely by a mud slide in San Rafael, California.
One of the neighbors across the street happened to shoot a video of it while it got knocked over.
Today I've heard that it's just a huge mud pile with the home completely buried.
On the good side ... this rainy season marks the end of California's draught as all the water reservoirs are full enough to release some flow ..... but now I'm hearing that some of the dams are showing cracks and breaking.

12-14 here in New York. These asshats can't drive on regular roads FORGET ice and snow. Spinouts and accidents everywhere.

They are cheap and very, very solid cars. You get a great value for money.
They used to be a bit ugly but now they are cheap, solid AND beautifull (its in the eye of the beholder)

I grew up in NH and never liked the cold and long season of snow.
So, I moved south and never lived up there again, as an adult.
Problem solved.
