the Russians and/or Trump admin (Bannon) will try to poison him?
-
LOL, no.
He has been running his mouth for decades.
Does he even have any real power in USA? To me it looks like if he at some point had, he has been marginalized after Trump win. He and the other old guy, Lindsey something, seem to be a two-man-show.
How is he viewed there by general public? Is he taken seriously?
-
LOL?
"You think our country is so innocent?"

Sen John McCain is a genuine hero and patriot.
Just over 50 years ago, he could have left his Hanoi Hilton prison cell early ( dad was an Admiral).
BUT, he refused to leave until his men did.
His constant vocal concerns over Pres. Trump's foreign policy conduct, give me reason to worry about our nation.
-
If (in this Republican-controlled Congress) John McCain (with his sidekick Lindsey Graham) continue to be thorns in the side of President Trump ... ultimately leading to the downfall of the POTUS ... well, that would be sweet revenge indeed.

McCain has been out of touch for awhile now. Just a liberal republican. The past does not give him license to play the fool. Has an extremely misguided high opinion of himself.

Keating 5. Another piece of warmongering Neo-Con shit. Always "The Maverick" when there is a Republican in the White House...not "Maverick" enough to take a stand against Obama and the Iranian nuke deal. Not a peep about that, just rolled over.
Just another piece of garbage.

Wow!
Your kind of blind loyalty reminds me of many devoted fans when I attend sporting events:
1. ref calls a foul on the other team = good , fair call.
2. ref calls a foul on the home team = bad, fixed call.
;D
Sorry, bud, not the one who supports McCain because of something he did years and years ago. That's on you. Nobody else.
-
You know McCain specifically said he was NOT calling Trump a dictator.
He was simply saying that dictators usually delegitimize the press first. That we should learn from history.
You guys can't have a problem with that, can you?
-
I can't wait for the free helicopter rides to start then...
-

I've admired Sen McCain for almost 20 years now.
I find him to be a man of genuine character and patriotism.

When Trump said that McCain wasn't a war hero and that "I like people who weren't captured" ... and it didn't hurt his presidential bid at all ... all bets should've been off.

The tedious task of working with the 535 members of congress to pass a bill, don't light up on their radar screen.
Is that why there is a Republican majority in the House/Senate? Governor's? Soon-to-be Supreme Court? ::) ::) ::) ::) ::)

McCain-Linked Nonprofit Received $1 Million From Saudi Arabia

The McCain Institute for International Leadership began voluntarily disclosing its donors on its website after an inquiry from USA Today in 2014. Donations are solicited by the institute’s own foundation, as well as the fundraising arm of Arizona State University, the ASU Foundation.
The website listed dozens of donors, including Chevron Corp., Cisco Systems Inc., FedEx Corp., Wal-Mart Stores Inc. and the nonprofit arms of General Electric Co. and Freeport-McMoRan Inc. It also listed a small donation, of less than $25,000, from the Danish embassy.
The institute didn’t originally disclose the 2014 donation from the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia. After an inquiry from Bloomberg News, the website was updated to note that the institute received more than $100,000 from the Saudi embassy. Documents filed with the IRS state that the donation totaled $1 million.
“The McCain Institute for International Leadership has decided to list as an individual donor on its website the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia,” Debbie Williams, vice president of communications for the ASU Foundation, wrote in an e-mail on behalf of the institute, “since those funds have been transferred to the ASU Foundation for the benefit of the McCain Institute.

I voted straight republican this time after pres/VP and know how important that is.
Obviously the avg Trump voter will vote for Trump's political party and applaud his supreme Ct picks.
MY point was/is that "draining the swamp" sounds good, but, that's not how it works.
An effective President ( like Reagan) needs to get in there and work with a diverse congress.
Passing legislation involves a lot more tedious , mundane work, then most people realize.
Except most of "the swamp" is not elected directly by the American people. They are appointed by the highest donor, special interests & lobbyists.
-
Maybe? But since I'm not in that loop, I don't really know , one way or the other.
No offense, but I seriously doubt if you and other Trump supporters know.
God you are pathetic...
Maybe you should refrain from typing bullshit since you aren't "in that loop" and "don't really know, one way or the other" and THEN in the same breath say that someone else probably doesn't know either.
HOW WOULD YOU KNOW IF SOMEONE ELSE KNOWS SOMETHING IF YOU DON'T KNOW JACK SHIT ABOUT THAT SAME ISSUE?!
Quit acting like your opinion carries ANY weight on this board, or in life. I'd listen to your farts before I'd take your opinions seriously. You have the internet and all the free time in the world... you choose to be ignorant.
Go to Wikileaks, (they aren't "Fake News") and get a snapshot into how these various donors/lobbyists and special interest groups have infested our government. They aren't elected. They just pay to play.
This has been covered fairly regularly on this board, no?

I honestly think most of the recent Wiki leaks stuff is related to the Russia hacking scandal.
Why?
Evidence of this should be easy to provide
EDIT: Example of their proof of authentification -
DKIM Verification
4 November 2016
Domain Keys Identified Mail, or DKIM, is a highly regarded email security system that can be used to independently authenticate the contents and sender of an email that uses it.
DKIM was developed and is widely deployed as an email server anti-spam mechanism, including on Gmail.com and HillaryClinton.com. DKIM-enabled mail servers cryptographically sign the emails they relay so that the recipients’ mail servers can authenticate them. DKIM has the beneficial side-effect of causing messages to become "cryptographically non-repudiable"; that is, after the email has been sent, the sender cannot credibly repudiate the message and say that it is a forgery. A DKIM mail server creates a cryptographically strong proof attesting to the authenticity of the email, which it adds to each of the headers of each email it sends. This cryptographic proof can then be tested by anyone who obtains a copy of the email.
In the Podesta email archive, many of the politically significant emails use DKIM authentication, including several contentious emails which some politicians have attempted to repudiate. These mails are, in fact, signed by HillaryClinton.com’s email provider, Google. This authentication is on top of the journalistic validations of the email archive already carried out by WikiLeaks.
For example, an email that DNC Chair Donna Brazile falsely claimed to be "doctored by Russian sources" is in fact validated. Similarly validated is the email referencing a future appointment of Tim Kaine as Vice-President of the United States, which Mr Kaine publicly attempted to allege was fake. Both these emails have been secondarily validated by Google as being sent, with the content exactly as published by WikiLeaks.
You can see on our pages a notice when an email has additional validation through DKIM. What does this mean? It means that the content of the email has been independently verified to be authentic in its entirety and this verification process can be performed by anyone. Most DKIM- authenticated emails are essentially indisputable.

Back to McCain...
Article from True Pundit (take with grain of salt):
EXCLUSIVE: White House Fingers John McCain As Media Leak; Believes U.S. Senator Eavesdropped on Trump’s Classified Phone
This could be the beginning of the end for embattled Sen. John McCain’s life in politics. According to White House officials, McCain is believed to have somehow gained access to the content of President Donald Trump’s private, classified telephone calls with world leaders. And he isn’t keeping quiet about what was talked about either.
An analysis of McCain’s recent public statements by White House officials, coupled with information from intelligence personnel working with the Trump administration, paints a disturbing picture for McCain — or any elected U.S. politician. Officials believe the senator has inside knowledge of a number of President Trump’s telephone conversations, including at least one conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Even more alarming, officials believe McCain is secretly sharing this sensitive information with colleagues and his cabal of friendly mainstream media journalists in a dangerous clandestine campaign to damage Trump’s presidency even before it has a chance to succeed. Trump has been searching for media rats in the Beltway in recent weeks. White House aides are confident they have now outed one of the major leaks plaguing the early days of the Trump presidency. To everyone’s surprise, it is a senior senator supposedly belonging to the same side of the political aisle as the president.

This would mean he has a serious mole(s) in some intelligence agency more loyal to random senator than to the president. Very bad.

How would McCain accomplish this?
Good question.
-
Dude, I know you think this is credible and legit.
But, I think it's pure bullshit.
Have a nice day
why do you think it's bullshit though?
-
fair enough:
Ever since the Wiki Leaks release of DNC info was due to Russia hacking, I was skeptical.
Once things were about the election and Russia hacking it, it wasn't going to be open and objective news.
I sincerely believe J. Assange is in bed with the Russians for personal gain and we do have a clear link between the 2. It's all too easy to mix in some truth with some propaganda to promote a political agenda.
THIS is exactly how the intel services work. It's a lot of bait and switch anchored with some facts.
For example, the now famous U-2 spy plane was declared to be a " high altitude weather research plane".
I just read a great book on how the FBI, CIA and KGB all used the "UFO myth" as an effective cover story for classified air craft.
Back in Oct 1962, it was reported JFK had to end a conference early due to a bad cold.
We now know he had to deal with the Cuban Missile crisis.
Only recently did we learn JFK agreed to remove our Jupiter class missiles from Turkey , 6 mos after the USSR removed theirs from Cuba.
In my opinion, Putin and Russia wants to ally with the USA for obvious strategic reasons.
If the E.U. and NATO can be weakened, while the USA/Russia ties can be strengthened, it's good for them.
Plus, who knows where China plays in all this?
Now for some speculation on my part:
Bannon is a top advisor with Pres Trump now and during the campaign.
It's no secret he promotes a 1st world, basically white /national unification .
His view isn't some simple form of racial hatred as some mistake him for.
Bannon simply feels that the most successful, wealthiest cultures should flourish.
Putin was big on bringing back the Russian Orthodox church as a religious/cultural force in post USSR Russia.
He's for promoting a white, Christian based world order. This isn't a goofy new world order conspiracy theory.
Like Bannon, Putin believes that white, Christian nations should unite for economic gain and status.
The 3rd world , struggling countries should be left to wallow and are not our concern.
Again, my last 2 paragraphs are somewhat "talking out my ass" but wtf, this is getbig . ;D
Should be easy to prove that Russia hacked the DNC server then. Care to share?
EDIT: other than the Crowdstrike investigation, that was paid for by the DNC. in other words, can you supply a government investigation into proof that the DNC was hacked by the Russian government?
Pro-tip, you can't.
The DNC didn't allow government agencies to access the server for investigation.

The whole thing may be an exploded plan, too. Seems to have been a theme in the election, so it wouldn't come as a surprise.
-
John McCain was once a decent man, now he is a senile old fool, a cartoon character of the man he once purported himself to be.
He should be put out to pasture by the voters of AZ
-
John McCain was once a decent man
Still a decent man. Still an American hero. Still more honor and character than any of the self-serving cowards in his sellout party.
-
John McCain is a bitter, senile old fool. It's way past time for him to retire.
If you want to be a Democrat then go be a fucking Democrat John.
