They are delusional.  No one in the mainstream admires their shit physiques.

Arnold was different - his body looked better and he had charisma.

Steve Reeves was different cos his body looked great and he had a good screen presence.

The most cringeworthy thing I've seen with bodybuilders and actors is Dennis Wolf auditioning in Generation Iron. Absolutely horrendous.

I think they just try to emulate what Arnold did.
With few exceptions like Branch Warren and Jay Cutler, every famous pro is just putting up a supplement company or try acting. Although even Jay had his weak moment with his Hollywood access and the infamous "beats by Jay". But that was probably because he had manager back then and I assume the manager was pushing the entertainment industry route. Jay is too rational and smart to come up with something like that himself.

Kai greene thinks he will be the next big thing in  hollywood, he is currently going to acting classes because he says he wants serious roles that requires good acting in movies.

They either have it or not...
Most of these guys sound like they've got an extra tongue in their mouth when they talk.
Remembering their lines would be a bigger challenge for them than making it on stage for the O.

They don't need super muscular humans in movies anymore when they can do it digitally.

VANITTY.  When you're muscular , (in most cases)  you think everybody admires you and for that you deserve celebrity status.  Lol

I always wondered if producers of film did it on purpose so bodybuilders get a reality check and leave that dream alone.

The thing is, since most are short, they can't even get small roles playing a goon or enforcer.
