Lots of great ones here. I would add Red Hot Chilli Peppers Higher Ground, The Beatles Twist and Shout, Long Tall Sally, Lennon's Stand by Me, and the Doors Alabama Song and Gloria.

Absolutely.

Who originally did "Alabama Song"? Also, haven't heard Lennon's "Stand," but how could it possibly top King's?

Is this the Beatles' "heaviest" song?

Or maybe "Helter Skelter"?

If all their songs were done by Motley and Aerosmith, I might appreciate the Beatles more.

It was taken from a Brecht/Weiss musical. I just like Lennon's singing on it a bit better.

Their debut is pretty much all covers/borrowed riffs and whatnot. "Good Times, Bad Times" is the only 100% original tune.
