I dont care how much he lifts he is obese and should try losing some weight, this is a 21 year old powerlifter who last year at a powerlifting meet benched 573, squat 771 and deadlift 826 at a bodyweight of 240 pounds.

Good strong squat..and, what-no monolift either? Impressive..also, I wouldn't exactly call him "obese" because he is not BB ripped.

True..to me old school will always be the best school..with a little hardcore thrown in too.
(although  me thinks "oldschool" is by default "hardcore") :D-just not the 8in not biceps b.s.

Fixed

(Oh, and in before anyone suggests I'm just jealous of his build and wishes I was 21 again - of course I am LOL)

Edit: the lift in the vid was impressive too...

Larry is not the norm by any means !!!!!! Kid has unreal genetics and trains incredibly hard of course he uses but everyone at that level does and few resemble him. Also that kid had a squat suit on (single ply) which is giving him a lot of carry over.

I remember stepping back with the weight was worse then the squat itself competing back in the day! When I first saw one of those mono bs contraptions I knew the millennials were training. The crazy shirts crack me up.

Agreed - and walking backwards with 1000+ pounds is a strength feet in itself!

I was fully expecting one of those drop off contraptions but was pleasantly surprised. I never came close to that weight but it always felt like my body was going to explode stepping back.

Great lift.
