so Trump is going to spend, big league, on the military ... plus there's The Wall (which Mexico ain't paying for any way you slice it), massive infrastructure spending ... together with huge tax cuts while not touching entitlements etc.
so does anybody want to hazard a guess...what will be the percentage increase or decrease of the U.S. national debt from the Trump presidency?
Reagan: 186% increase in the national debt over Carter
GHW Bush: 54% increase over Reagan
Clinton: 32% increase over GHW Bush
GW Bush: 101% increase over Clinton
Obama: 68% increase over GW Bush
Trump: ???

History tells us that amount of national debt and size of budget deficits don't matter under a Republican POTUS
-
So all of you proud conservatives on here don't give two shits about trying to balance the budget or at least reducing the deficit? Isn't that supposed to be a big part of being "conservative?" :-\
Surely, you don't give a fuck about gays getting married ... or women having the right to choose ... or an individual rolling a doobie in their own home ... right? ... And something like stem-cell research is a positive development, correctamundo?

The debt is so massive the only way out is to increase GDP and continue to devalue the dollar to lessen the effect of the debt. Above all else the goal is to stay away from any deflationary measures.

Really? Up over I think 10k in a month?

So now all of a sudden Liberals care about spending? Laughable.

We can tell you don't follow the markets.
The DOW is up 2000, not 10, in the past month.
It's been climbing irrationally for awhile now.
So now all of a sudden Liberals care about spending? Laughable.
I think the point is that many conservatives claim to be against deficit spending, yet as long as its their party, they are ok with it.
While I think it should be reigned in, at least the Democrats are honest in that they spend. Republicans will tell you they aren't spending, then do it anyway. A lot.
Also. How many posts by Conservatives were talking about how broke the country is? How we couldn't afford this or that? Posting the deficit clock and so on?
It's ridiculously hypocritical and you surely see that.
