Diminishing returns, but hard to stop. I'm on like year 3. I do it for 5-6 days a week. No food before 12 or 1. Kinda getting tired of it. I think some kind of macro-micro fasting cycle is in order combining smart fasting with periods of traditional bodybuilding style diets to keep the body guessing.

What I'm trying to say is eating breakfast once a week is really starting to suck after 3 years.

I'm a big fan of IF. It stimulates brain derived neurotrophic factors, increases autophagy, helps correct impaired glucose sensitivity and is very neuroprotective. You feel awesome and then once fat starts melting away, you look awesome too.

I generally shoot for a 20 hour fast, 3-4 hour feeding window. But I'm just crazy and love the feeling of pushing it. If you just skip breakfast and push your lunch back a bit, I really think you'll help with your glucose metabolism and burn an appreciable amount of fat. Do this a few times a week and see for yourself.

in order for me to do keto well, i need a meal prep service for 3 meals a day, i can do 2-3 of them myself but 6 meals a day.... i end up skipping or cheating when I do not have food aval. I suck at meal prepping myself

I've tried intermittent fasting, but my body doesn't seem to like it.  After about 15 hours of no food my body starts to feel cold and I get the chills.  Eating again makes the chills go away and I feel warm again.

why? our ancestors used to eat once a day or once every two days when the going got tough. I do IF at least twice a week and it works great for me especially when I am cutting and keeping calories between 1500-2000 a day max.

It takes time for the body to adjust. I do well just eating dinner (~3,000 kcals). But I don't eat any junk food or added sugars.

I don't have to worry about breakfast or lunch and save time during the day, I don't miss it either. Just coffee or water. I'm around 10% bodyfat.

I've perfected this through intermittent laziness.
