Stage 4 colon cancer.  :(

It makes sense that if you are shot in a particular organ, that the chances of getting cancer in that organ would be higher.  I am not shocked, but that is particularly sad for a man who is only 45 years old.

Tim Fogarty stated that HPV causes colon cancer.  I believe he said that was most cases.  Not likely the case here, as the link with being shot is a pretty clear one to me.

Really?  Tim Fogarty seemed to suggest it was predominantly sexually transmitted.  As for George, didn't he have a portion of his intestine removed?  Stage IV cancer - that is terrible news.  Where did you learn this?

Does this mean that George has roughly a year to live?

Seeing the conditioning that Jim brought King in, much past his prime made me feel...what is the opposite of disgusted?

Do you know what hereditary means?

People get cancer because they are exposed to poisons/toxins at some point in their lives.  That is not hereditary.

My dad died of multiple cancers caused by 40 years of smoking and alcohol abuse.  It had nothing to do with heredity.

Hogwash.  That's precisely what the medical industry wants people to believe.

I am disgusted by this disgusting news and even more disgusted at how ignorant disgusted and the rest of you guys are, talking about hereditary and shot in colon and all that bullshit, cancer is caused by your diet plain and simple if your body is highly acidic then that is the environment where cancer cells and tumor grows, keep your body in a alkaline state and cancer cells wont be able to grow, but people are always focus on cures and nobody thinks about the prevention of diseases.

Truth is your body develops many cancers. Immune system kills them. if you have a weakened immune system and an aggressive cancer it can grow faster than its killed.

You have to wonder if farah's high carb cycle gave a lot of nutrients for the cancer to grow fast.

George hasn't competed since 2010 iirc, so he certainly hasn't been pounding the food recently. Not to mention, the guy had a colostomy (or maybe ileostomy) and a bag for months, then a reversal after his gunshot wounds when he lost a kidney. Cancer is still mysterious at times, obvious at others.  Seems to me that his previous trauma and surgeries create a bigger risk in the future.

Its actually that simple, a lot of people dont understand the purpose of food they think that pharmaceutical drugs is medicine but its actually poison, food is the real medicine that was designed by nature to heal the body and protect it from diseases, people wreck their bodies with alcohol, drugs, processed foods with chemicals and preservatives and genetically modified foods, the body can't deal with all this crap that you put in it so it breaks down and you end up with all kind of illnesses.

Is it largely due to HPV then?  Because if so, that is a sexually transmitted disease, when you think about it.  Cervical cancer is considered an STI.

They say having oral hpv increases risk of throat cancer, going by that reasoning maybe it's correct but only if you are a fagg0t which Tim Forgaty is, why would a straight man ever have anal warts/hpv?

Correct.

But it means the girl featured in that article for example, probably got it from anal sex.  Assuming Tim Fogarty was correct when he stated most cases are from HPV.

It would make me wonder if actor Sam Whipple died of HPV-based colon cancer, from receiving anal sex?

I have my HPV shots.  I do not want to inoculate a woman with cervical cancer.  I think people should give consideration to stopping anal sex, but I guess no one cares, and people are obsessed with sex.

I'm with you. Lost a close female friend last year who battled breast cancer for a long time. She never did anything we would consider risky and was in superb shape (black belt in a marshal arts etc).  She left a husband and three kids behind.

I've spent my whole career in medicine and once you have spent time in a children's hospital you realize how random cancer/disease can be.

Just enjoy the time you have because there are no guarantees no matter what you do.

Check out Nether Animal's Wiki link.  There are over 100 strains of HPV and something like 90% of all sexually active people over the age of 50 have at least one strain.  I got my HPV shot which protects against the four strains of HPV which, in combination, cause something like 90% of all cervical cancer and 90% of all warts.

Or if he has the right attitude and great doctors and surgery that can get to the areas the cancer has gone to, he may be like a friend of mine who is cancer free several years after being diagnosed with a final stage of pancreatic cancer, the hardest category of cancer to get rid of.

Not sure if you realize how rare it is to go into remission from pancreatic cancer. Glad to hear your friend is OK. Usually when they say late stage that's when it has metastasized to other areas of the body. Then it becomes much harder to put into remission.

The doctors themselves were blown away by my friend's results.  I believe there had been some spreading to liver which they got by surgery.  Heavy duty chemo and lots of faith.  Now they are careful to watch for any spreading elsewhere.  So far so good.

Pancreatic cancer is the scariest cancer of them all.  Patrick Swayze lasted a very long time relative to that cancer.

In 2004, a friend of a friend from Lakehead University went to the hospital in my city at the age of 22 with a stomach flu.  He was told he had pancreatic cancer and had two days to live.  He died eight days later.  True story.  :'(

I've had two friends with pancreatic cancer. One was 43 and after doing one session of chemo he said fuck it and decided to live out the rest of his life with no treatment, he lived 18 months from the time he was diagnosed.

The other was 61, he went to one of the best hospitals in the world and did the whole gambit of treatment. He responded so good the Dr's said they rarely seen someone like him. He was for a short period of time almost in remission. During his break from chemo the cancer came back, he lived 18 months from the time he was diagnosed.

Is it the case that physical trauma to the organ (e.g., gunshot) could contribute to onset of cancer?

Massive spike in colorectal cancers in younger people in the past few years.  Genetics hasn't changed in a couple of years, it's diet.

See veryfakenews article:

Clueless imbecile.

Cancer disgusts me.  In both cases, that is a LONG time to go with pancreatic cancer.

As for this thread, I am disgusted by your lack of sources.

How did you get that moniker anyway?  ???  I always wondered that.  :-X

Were you disgusted by the conditioning of some of your clients?  ;D

My old boss lasted eight months. Just turned 50 - trained every day, built like a 30 year-old athlete. Got a stomach ache at work, never came back.

His brother and sister then died shortly after, both cancer. Mom and Pop still alive.

Wow, always knew sugar was implicated in regard to insulin resistance and metabolic syndrome, but not so much cancer. Makes sense in light of parallel increases in Type 2 diabetes and unexpected cancers in youngsters and younger adults. I'm trading in my Jiff crunchy peanut butter (delicious) for an unsugared brand

"Squat off"

Term used for people who actually enjoyed competing in bodybuilding and not just the showing of their physiques on Instagram.

Times changed.

great article...I never knew he was diagnosed with it.

In the last year I've been reading on how ppl have totally reversed cancer by changing their diets to alkaline from acidic...which is mainly sugar based.

How do you just all of a sudden notice stage. Four cancer? Wouldnt you have warning symptoms?

Not necessarily.  Stage 4 just means the Cancer has spread to other parts of the body.  You can have cancerous tumors growing in your body right now, that you won't even know about until the point in which they grow large enough to cause symptoms such as discomfort, fatigue, weight loss, etc.   Privileged people, such as Presidents and former Presidents get expensive yearly full body scans, including coronary calcium scans for their heart, in which they can spot potential health problems in earlier stages.  The average person can't afford such a luxury, so usually by the time they notice something is not right, it can sometimes be too late.
