I'm no fashion expert and rarely notice clothes style.
But, over the years, I've noticed a lot of baseball caps worn while working out.
Never understood the purpose of it?

Stops sweat from rolling in my eyes. Worn low with music in ears, deters others from making idle chit chat.
-
What's this "working out" thing that you speak of?
-
Regular caps or the ones that cover half the ears and have the gold sticker on it which screams "Look I got a new hat " ::)

This. The exact reason why that girl that op faps to always has one on low as possible
-
I tend to agree, however, I often ride a motorcycle to work, then gym, and helmet hair is not a great look on anyone. And I won't stoop so low as to "style" my matted down hair in the mirror at the gym before I lift, lol. So, often, a cap it is.
-
It is to cover the bald spot on top of your head.
-
If getbiggers concentrated as much on their workouts as they do the clothes of other dudes in the gym, they might be better off.
-
Anytime I'm not a work (or some formal situation) I'm most likely wearing a cap....have since I was kid. I lounge in cap sometimes, drive in a cap, run errands in a cap, visit friends in a cap, train in a cap, work around the house in a cap and basically wear a cap anywhere I can.
Plus, my wife loves me in a cap....has since we were kids.
I wonder why folks carry around big gym bags with them while they train? Never understood that. I have headphones, phone, wraps and a bottle of water....why the bag at every station at the gym? Especially if they arrive at the gym in their workout clothes and leave the gym still in their soiled workout clothes LOL. What's the bag for?

To keep the sweat from running down your face

I will stare longingly at as many buff stuff dudes in the gym as I want good sir!

To keep the sweat from running down your face
Excellent point and exactly right.

GetBig... solving the riddle of hats!

So you can't make eye contact with them.

This and I love hats.

I had a gym buddy get his personal belongings stolen out of a locked locker. wallet, cards, phone, etc....while he was training. I guess they caught the guys later, but they posed as gym employees, wearing a polo of like color, so nobody batted an eye when he goes in and cuts the lock off. I've been carrying a bag ever since, lol.

Why dont you talk to other gympeeps?
Working out is " going to war" for you? Its all serious and like " a battle " ?

I know what you're saying bro, less is more. I wish most of the men in the my gym wouldn't burden themselves with wearing clothes.
They shouldn't be ashamed of their beautiful bodies.

MOS nice see you back posting! Why you wear earphones? You dont seem like the type to be a serious and " beast mode " " war mode" " going to battle" while working out. Thought you were a chit chatting laid back workout fella while bringing the gospel in between sets.
-
Some people just wear has all the time.nothing to understand really.
-
what's with the hoods over the head then? i see a couple of ''warriors'' practicing this, they must've seen their BB hero on youtube do this
-
Its for people who like to collect their bacteria from work out to workout and bathe their hair and foreheads in day old sweat.
That, or they don't want their yearly wigger-card to expire.
If you're not playing or coaching a sport, working outside, or hunting... Leave the hats alone... And wash and comb your hair. Dirtbags.
-
Working out with a cap on is a good way to make your head stink. The heat has no where to go.

It was started by levrone, gives the lifter more strength so they can do hundred pound curls in yo face with ease

To keep the sweat from running down your face
Do you think caliber could corner the market to stop sweat running into the arse crease?
-
At the gym, I pretty much avoid all younger guys wearing caps that aren't my age or older. Seems like they get the hint pretty well and steer clear.
Not all guys wearing hats to work out are douchebags, but all douchebags wear hats while working out.
-
When my hair gets too long I'll wear my Make America Great Again hat.
-
Keep the sun out of your eyes.
-
.

I use a military helmet when training and camo pants. I am super hardcore even though i have never been or will be relevant bodybuilding wise.
-

isn't a kippah meant for that ? :-X

To keep the sweat from running down your face
Unless there is no air-conditioning I've never had sweat running into my eyes or down my face in such an extreme amount that I need to stop it.
-

Nice to be back posting a bit more!
I wear the headphones to listen to music. Some days it's all christian/gospel. Some days it's Journey. Some days it's Earth Wind and Fire. Some days it's John Williams scores. Music keeps me motivated. Am I beast mode at war with a stone face LOL? Not even close. I'm don't talk much unless someone engages me, but otherwise I get in and get out as quickly as possible. Yet, I smile. I'm polite. I'll crack jokes on occassion. But mainly there to be less fat and build more muscles. ;)
Only gospel in between sets is that which pumps out of the headphones! Gym time is often synonymous with private worship time via music for me.
As far as hats go I'm a cap guy...have been since I was a little kid. My best friend never wears caps and doesn't understand them....non-cap guys don't get it LOL.
In fact, all my guy friends are non-cap guys....I'm the only cap guy. Funny thing is at some point every single one of their wives has told them, "I wish you would wear caps like that sometimes....it looks good on men."
-
I don't understand the new skinny tapered sweatpant/athletic pants fad amongst all the guys....emphasizes even more so the absolute lack of thighs and calves....oh well to each their own. Those pants just SCREAM "I don't have leg day."
-

So you are that scary looking they "steer clear"?
Think the gym bag thing or 5% gallon jugs is far more vexing then hats. I think keyboard warriors calling people douchebags need to take stock of their own lives and not worry what others do.

watch battle for the olympia 98, tell me that Mr. Levrone doesn't look cool as fuck with the hoodie while benching 500
of course he's the only one that can pull it off, every other guy looks silly

Ill wear a hood sometimes. Only possible during a couple months a year since it's120° in the summer here.... Usually only when hitting chest though for whatever reason. Helps me focus, like blinders on a horse.

I always train in shorts. Probably been 20 years since I wore sweatpants at the gym.
-
Shorts,t-shirt, and baseball hat.
...that's how I go to war!

Great post MOS. Always interesting and fun to get some "real life details" from other posters.
Keep on trucking and keep spreading the news bro. You are blesssd to have the oppertunity to do so (christian wife and christian surroundings). Not everybody has that opportunity / freedom. God bless.
