President Trump has authorized 59 BGM-109A Tomahawk TLAM strikes on Shayrat Airbase, and these have resulted in dozens of casualties, including at least 1 fighter pilot.
15 fixed-wing aircraft were destroyed, some of the best the regime had in its arsenal for airstrikes.
Shayrat Airbase was from where Assad ordered the Khan Shaykhun Sarin gas massacre to occur, according to the Trump Administration.
Administration officials VERY tight-lipped about further strikes, but many anonymous Pentagon officials have said that more will certainly occur.
Israeli PM Netanyahu meeting with his cabinet on Sunday to discuss possible intervention in Southern Syria, giving further support to the #SouthernFront Free Syrian Army rebels in order to prevent Iranian-backed Hezbollah terrorists from threatening Israeli from Quneitra and Dera'a provinces.

I don't pretend to know all the specifics about Syria, only someone who has studied the region could know the extent of their conflicts.
I do know that dropping some bombs on a small empty base is not going to change anything. We've been bombing that country for years.

That said, my only question is.........
What is the evidence that Assad is the one who carried out this gas attack? Trump says there is no doubt that he did it. What is that based on? How are we so sure?
I'm a little sick of the "just take our word for it, we gotta bomb them for the children" thing. They fooled me about Iraq, I'd rather not be bullshitted twice. Maybe Trump is 100% right, I'd just like to see some proof.

Really the only thing I have heard (not seen) is that our intelligence watched that plane take off and followed it to where it happened.
However, if they didn't do anything and got blasted you would think that they would be much more upset then how they are acting currently.

Maybe Trump did the right thing, maybe it was a "big picture" action so he could send a message to China, I don't know.
