I'm looking to get some old back issues, specifically to see the ad for the tshirts that they used to sell that had hugely muscled barbarian like figures and slogans like "living well is the best revenge" "hardcore" and an executioner with "next"? (No homo)
Or if someone has copies of old mags and a scan of that ad page that'd be nice too.

You may want to check in SF1900s mom's basement.

I realize that what you were looking for has been posted, but you may also want to check out Lyman Daly's stuff. He did the Max Rep series for MD back in the 80s-90s, along with the illustrations for a lot of their articles.

Me too. I sold may over the years.

I left three huge boxes of them in a garage when I moved house in 1995, they might be still there.

I did the same thing. Had Weider's going back to the 60's. Wish I had them. I still have a good collection of Ironman too.
