Just ask Michael J. Knowles, a 26-year-old history buff with a degree from Yale whose name graces the cover of the top-selling book on Amazon at the moment:
“Reasons to Vote for Democrats: A Comprehensive Guide.”
A quick glance at the table of contents suggests the book is as humorless as its title is dry.
But flip through a few chapters and you'll quickly notice that all 266 pages — wait for it — are completely blank.

LOL - posting my typo as if it means something
-
Nevermind that the same book could be made about Republicans.
It's just another "Skull and Bones" man using his connections to sell near-worthless stuff. That's how we got W.

Leave the adults to discuss the important political topics.
If you don't know what you are talking about...best to keep quiet rather than make a fool of yourself!

I wrote "clip magazine" and some people on this board think it's hugely significant mostly because they have no other grounds to defend their argument's
I type very fast and my posts are filled with typos

Interesting, Skeletor. Thank you.
Am I reading it correctly to say the book from original post was placed on Amazon just six days ago? (Anyone?)

Oh, I thought you meant from this thread.
You caught way too much bull over the other thing, imo. I remember it.
-
It's really interesting to compare the books Skeletor posted (issue dates and number/quality of reviews) versus the one from original post. Wonder how to explain it.

Some of the "reasons to vote Republican" books were released on March 9th and 10th and the "reasons to vote Democrats" book was released on February 8th. Most likely it is a concerted online effort to push a certain book/product to the front page in order to make a political statement. It seems to occur quite frequently in recent years with mass negative (or positive) reviews on amazon, yelp, google, comment sections of websites, mass reporting of content that "triggers" some people and of course the virtue signalling and slacktivism on social media.
-
I tried my best to avoid the WaPo article in the original post, since it's WaPo...
but it gives the closest thing to an explanation. Mr Skull-and-Bones got a TV hookup on FOX, then Trump tweeted about the "book" and that's it.
::)

I noticed an April 11, 2017 date on the OP book. Does that mean it was offered for sale on Amazon at that time? That means about 2100 reviews in six days (at least 10 new ones since I first brought-up page) at nearly a 5-star rating.
The others mostly have fewer than 100 at maybe 1.5-star average. Like the reviewers honestly felt cheated. ???

The one I was referring to with February 8th release date is:
https://www.amazon.com/Reasons-Vote-Democrats-Comprehensive-Guide/dp/1543024971
Looks to be the same book and writer but perhaps different edition or indexing.

^Yes, so I see the first is under "Humor and Entertainment" and the recent listing is "Politics and Government".
I'd like to know exactly how this person arranged the appearance on TV. Who was behind it and why. Something very interesting could be found in that info, you can bet on it.

Someone years ago gave me a similar "book" titled, "Accomplishments of the Clinton Administration." Same concept with the blank pages.
What's genuinely surprising to me is the sheer volume this item is selling. It makes me wonder if droves of people are jumping on the Conservative bandwagon.
