There are a few exceptions but the problem is that these folks have no far reaching audience - the "truth", if it can be called that, may be far too depressing to accept for most.

I agree. In this case, he serves as a placeholder for "lead theorist of conspiracies" and he's been given his MSM presence to draw the energy for it. The fact he's in the MSM is all someone needs to know.

I'm conflicted on Alex Jones. On one hand he's clearly bat-shit crazy and he floats a lot of BS. On the other hand he's been right about a lot of major issues the last few years.
I watch his show and try to sort through the info and decide what is serious and what is crap.

Spend some time watching and listening to him before you judge. He's been all over this globalist shit for years and he's been right on the money.
A lot of the stuff he's bee right about is serious shit. It's not so simple to get information anymore. You can't just turn on the news. You have to do some legwork.
