Agreeing with the Huffpost.  Not the best start when trying to prove a point.

LOL. Trust HuffPo to have an article promoting a childfree life. :D

Read this, and let it just sink in:
Quote
Many childfree couples whose decision evolved over time included watching siblings and friends have kids, and how their lives changed when parenthood became their central focus. In my interviews, a good number of men in particular recalled observing their fathers when they were boys. They saw the pressures their fathers faced in trying to provide for the family, and decided they did not want this experience in their own adult lives.

Read this, and let it just sink in:

That quote is the exact reason my wife and I decided not to have kids.  We're selfish.  We looked at all our friends having kids, and how miserable their lives were.  All of our friends have no time or money, because it all goes to their kids.  Meanwhile, my wife and I have plenty of money, travel, live a stress free life, and do whatever the fuck we want.   :D

Each to their own.

I'd be seriously concerned about the world the coming generations are going to inherit. Some of my friends here in Germany have already said they prefer to have no kids than to have kids who'd become muslim slaves.

If they actually decided to have "more kids" instead of "no kids", then it's far less likely they would end up becoming slaves to the Muslims. Strength can be found in numbers.
Seems like many Europeans are willingly committing cultural suicide.

Bingo.

I'm one of those that knew I didn't want kids as a teenager.

I'm imagining you're in some alternate universe, where there is a process is set up that causes you harm if you don't tell us this every single day.

Bingo.

I'm one of those that knew I didn't want kids as a teenager.
I saw my friends' parents and other adults raising kids.
It looked like a miserable lifestyle for most of 'em.

My wife saw her older sister with her young kids .
She thought it looked chaotic and stressful.

so you decided to go for the "lifestyle" of a string of broken marriages instead...i'm sure that's proved very rewarding  ???

why do you feel the need to keep harping on about how happy you are because you don't have children.

it's like if someone kept starting threads about how happy they are because they do have children...it's just weird... and it actually screams that really you have some kind of hang up about not having any children.

I think this too. Perhaps Howard actually has some regrets about not having kids and now he has to constantly reassure himself that he made the correct decision by telling us how happy he is with the choice he made.

Yes - this theory has been floated out as well, but we don't do it anymore, because it encourages more discussion on this topic.
