So I was printing out some invoices on my Pantum 2500W Laser Printer when I receive this call on my business line. I normally let it go to voice since I don't answer calls on the weekend but I answered it the 4th time it ring. I get some guy on the line which I'm assuming that he's a member of my native tribe by his voice interested in purchasing an .22 caliber starter pistol and ammo. Now I'm not a dealer of weapons however I do sell starter pistols for track teams on my website. Anyway, he insists that he wants to pay for it in cash. I explain to him that we only accept credit cards, checks, or money orders. I also advise him that he needs to fax over a copy of his drivers license as well as a official request on school or university letterhead. I then ask him who for general purposes will refer to as Trayvon to which school is he employed with and he nervously responds that he works for the community... ::) I then apologize to the "colorful" gentleman that he will not be able to purchase this item. Normally, the call should have ended but before I could hang up my phone, he unleases a pathetic tirade calling me a peckerwood cracker which I'm used to since I sound white on the phone and accuses me of being a racist. Being a little pissed off that this brew insults me on my day off , I advise him that he's right that I don't sell to n i g g e r s and if he has a problem with it, then he can go call Jesse Jackson or fill out a membership card for Black Lives Matter. He then states that he's going to sue me to which I then explained to him best of luck in suing another black person for racism to which he then went dead silent realizing that he was in bad form. I then told him to never call my office again and hung up on him.

So nice that you included specific details of your printer, which makes the story so much more interesting to the reader.

I suppose but he was likely going to use it to rob a store, show off in the streets, or do a rap video and if that occurred, my business would have been liable for anything that occurs....these are things that people have to watch out for in running a company

So he wanted to buy a brand new 22 from you. And you said, "Bye 'Brew!",
And then he said, "I'll sue!", and then you said, "Good Luck to you, I'm a 'Brew too!", and then he said, "______".

So, you got offended that he assumed you were a racist, peckerwood cracker? However, you decided not to sell him the pistol, because you presumed that he was going to rob, rap, and show it off in the streets?
Hmmmm.... :-\

which I'm used to since I sound white on the phone
I've heard your radio show and you do sound like a Southern white guy. Why is this? It reminds me of Henry Cho, the Korean with a white southern accent who sounds like Jeff Foxworthy.

I thought it was a great addition to the story as I was reading it on my Samsung SF350 LS22F352FHNXZA monitor.
