Ever see how some of these guys are always talking about their age and reminding everyone they're "old men"? Same goes for fitness You Tubers. Jason Blaha and Lui Marco were talking about being 40 for ages.

35-42 by my guesstiomation can be prime years for a bodybuilder............. ...sometimes even older depending on the individual.

With HGH, 45 is the new 35

for me i will peak in those years. i can see it and feel it

I was in great shape in my early 30s, (had visible~ripped abs from my teens up to 34-35) but i did fear aging a bit (how i would look 40+) when i was 35 and lo and behold, the physique turned to shit in my 40s!
i sure didnt peak in my 40s i tell ya that!
Lots of reasons though, if i took care of my body better and didnt react the way i did to all the personal tragedies, deaths etc im sure i would have trained more and thought more about what i was eating.
-
Old to me these days is like 70+, you're only as old as you feel

Being a true gb'er as well as alpha male type A1
I have only gained in strength, knowledge , and wealth - I am 34, never married , no kids - live on my own(not common in US anymore)
A true man realizes these are the sweet nectars he needs to harvest from life and each is gained everyday if you follow Alpha calling
As I get older I just worry about myself WHEN IM OLDER
Hopefully i die of a heart attack - but mental health is a huge concern to me as of lately

too bad you still haven't learned anything about using proper form

Not fear but dread. Knowing that no matter how long you can prolong it. No matter how much you fight the good fight. No matter how far ahead of others you are in your age group. No matter how long you can last ... in the end you will lost. You will get weak and frail. You will be applauded that even though you need someone to push you in a wheel chair so you can still hit in the gym you will still know that you're just desperately hanging on.
There's nothing wrong with that. Maybe even something noble. I plan to fight to the bitter end. But there is an end and there's nothing you can do about it.
I don't fear something that will happen no matter what I do. You just have to accept it. But you don't have to like it. The difference in my body in terms of functional ability has degraded so much in the last twenty years. There is no way on Heaven and Earth I could maintain for even a few days the daily protocol I routinely did on a daily basis.
-
I only fear for my health.
-
Age can be more a feeling than anything else. Don't let a number dictate to you, it only means waht you make it mean. There are plenty of young looking 60 year olds and also older looking 25 year olds. So much comes down to mentality and what you nurture and encourage inside your mind.
-

E
No, but he has some kind of craven hatred of them. I think a bodybuilder stole his wife.
-
It is a pointless endeavour fearing something that is inevitable. Nobody likes getting older it's a tremendously depressing subject if you dwell on it but I see it as an utter waste of time and energy fretting over something you can't avoid.
At least getting old you can wind down, work less if at all and do a lot more of things you enjoy. When I trained at a local gym, my job enables me a lot of time off during weekdays so could train when gym opened at 9 and about ten older guys who were retired trained then and seemed to greatly enjoy themselves and seemed to have a good life

Didn't paumbo sack you for eating the entire stock of protein bars on the stand you were working before the expo even opened ? Why do you always speak so positively of him?

Interesting post wich gives some personal insights behind the Kwon handle. Life events make you lose interest in working out. For me after 36 I became more and more inactive because of a growing family and a sick wife ( she is better now) thus losing the athlethic look I was able to maintain with little to no effort up until then. Not working out was the reason of the decay, not age. I could stil get it back if I set my mind to it, so can you.

Looked best from late thirties to early 40's. Was 215-220 at around 12% bf. No real dieting and taking some prohormones and creatine.

2x must be horrible for then seeing us men getting beter looking every year. My wife admits I look better every year that passes.

Just realized im in that group. Lol. Pushing hard training and drug wise (with a 5yr break with only hrt) takes a toll. The "spark" tends to die out a bit after about 15yrs of teaining. (believe in on year 21 of training and year 18? Orbso of anabolics... You get tired and burned out. Especially with "life" happening)
