Title: LEVRONE 2000 Olympia
Post by: Nether Animal on May 11, 2017, 04:47:43 PM
Weird year for Kev. He was shredded but it is almost like he overdieted, since his back totally disappeared and was flat as hell, even though his upper body was still as big as ever. Ronnie still dominated.

It's hard to beat Ronnie that year. OK, just by himself a year earlier.Ronnie was better in 98 and 99

I was there that year and I was close. I felt like they were giving Kevin way to much praise for his physique that year. His legs had clearly faded big time. No calves either. Upper body was ok for Kevin. Even with Ronnie not being his best, No one was close to Ronnie. In my opinion the lineup was fairly week, as far as Mr O's go for that era. Remember there was no smaller Mr O class then as well. Ronnie won that no problem. You could just see it when they stood next to each other waiting for the results of who was the winner was. It seemed to take them forever to announce it making it all the more clear as they stood side by side. Ronne was still unbeatable. And to just point out that I'm a big Levrone fan. My favorite years for Kev were 93 for condition. His 96 Arnold win for both size and conditioning.(could have went to Flex though that year) both had different strengths, and Flex was visably pissed. And 97 euro grand prix tour. Shaved head then, but looked amazing. Won every show but the last to Ronnie. But we all know Ronnie was just coming into his own then. He would go on to win the 98 Mr O, and then it was the Coleman era! Even with Gunther beating him in the 2003 GNC Show. Ronnie came back in 2003 with the most mass and cuts (Not the best Ron) but the best ever to land on a BB stage. And probably the last to look like that!
