Title: Church of the Eternal Pump
Post by: dantelis on May 20, 2017, 05:34:13 AM
I was thinking about opening a gym and making it a new religion so i can take advantage of the tax exempt status.  I'd call it The Church of the Eternal Pump.  Our savior would be Sandow and Arnold would be one of his prophets.  We'd follow the prophet's advices.  Our good book would be The Encyclopedia of Bodybuilding.

What do you think?  Could I get a "No Pain, No Gain" from the congregation?!!!

Any Swede here may confirm this but I believe that somebody " started " a Jedi religion in Sweden.

Church of the modern day hedonism sounds great!

TRT could be your peyote.

Frankly a church worshipping strength is long overdue and would be a net positive for society.

The preacher bench will be our confessional.

"Bless me Trainer, for i have sinned.  It's been 3 days since my last workout.  I've neglected my legs and only worked on my show muscles, mainly chest and bi's.  What is my penance?"

"Go my son and squat...squat until you puke and puke without embarassment."

You don't need to make it a church to be tax exempt. An investor and I looked into it when we looked at buying my old gym. All you do is make it a non-profit. (501c3)and have programs for disadvantaged youth or whatever & get donations to keep the doors open and ok lights on... And employees paid. You can have "fundraisers"& shit... " once the high cost the fundraising campaign has paid all the monies go directly to supporting the charity"... Which means the cost of the fundraising campaign means paying your employees and bills and salary. You could have $1 left over and have that go to "charity work". ( facts about 02 till 05 I'm in an office that did fundraising for non-profit's... eventually went out of business do team lawsuits and the FCC slapping the business with a 28 million dollar fine that was suspended provided we stopped doing a bunch of shit dot dot dot and that bunch of shit we had to stop doing forced us out of business
