I already am. And I have lost 20 lbs of fat and normalized my blood sugar and cholesterol since starting,without even trying.

Honestly, my ethical reservations about eating meat would be drastically curtailed if it wasn't so closely tied to the livestock industrial complex. When I was younger I used to think hunting was barbaric, but I've changed how I feel about that over the years.

I am going that route but I dont know about what ratios etc etc. no fucking clue - tweaking it

sample of new diet contains more fat

meal 1 (530am)
3 large veggies (1 red and 1 yellow pepper, serving of carrots)
liquid egg whites (1 cup) 25 grams protein and 120 cals
2 tablespoons Coconut oil 250 cals (the shit in the jar with the white top)
tons of water, hot coffee (black)

also... when I go out to eat, i will order a restaurant to make a plate of hot veggies and that is it. i do that often. go out to eat - order a plate of grilled veggies only (asparagus, tomatoes, etc etc ) most places crush it - same price as a salad too

Not a good comparison because animals such as carnivores uses their teeth as a tool to catch prey.

Humans evolved and developed tools to hunt with. Also we prepare our food making it easier for the teeth to chew down. So the comparison is totally useless.

i think meat in 2017 really needs to be treated as more of a dessert and less of a main every day type of thing for real health. i have totally avoided all poultry or red meat , and swine basically because i am a very big animal lover and finally realized that its hypocritical to have these killed for me, while im so in love with dogs and other animals. if i could humanely kill a wild animal and source all its parts, im ok with that and would do it sparingly but factory farms where your subway sandwhich and other markets source meat from, you will never know how that animal was treated...ever. honestly, im just trying to take more responsibility as a consumer, instead of just a mindless zombie who eats chicken or steak without knowing where its from or how it died. we are so removed from nature. not knocking anyone who eats these things, my wife still does. and i never tell people what i eat or dont eat, i just do this for me and maybe others reading this might see that this makes sense and give it a whirl. i definitely do not miss chicken or hamburgers. its either a small peice of fish, or rice and beans or something for dinner. some days no meat of any kind just oats, rice, beans, veggies. feel great

dude its my breakfast and i feel full as shit, awesome, tons of energy too.

old school black coffee, 33 oz water, 3 seervings of veggies, 25 grams of liquid egg whites and 2 tablespoons of coconut oil (MCT goodies) but I love the way it tastes. i get black coffee and pepper in some cinnamon and tastes amazing




i try not think "how sausage is made" my family is very german and one of family members had a butcher shop so ive consumed tons of red meat as a kid. then when i was on my own "holy shit red meat is $$$"

I dont like to get personal (its a forum and some wierd dudes here) my dad was very lean and healthy, fit guy, very healthly, 1960s bodybuilder type - he consumed tons of red meat being german, the US army, loved red meat etc and he has onset of Alztimers.  consumed tons of red meat. I love my dad and miss talking to him like I used too  :-[

It has been said that the Native Americans were taller than their white colonial counterparts due to higher protein (meat consumption). And Japanese women's breasts have gotten bigger due to higher protein diets. The downside, is that the rates of breast cancer have risen.

Its well known already that you need to take a b12 supplement if you are a vegan but that's it.  A whole food plant based diet blows a meat filled one out of the water.

It isn't well known yet whether or not B12 supplementation is enough to prevent Alzheimer's disease.  More studies are needed before a conclusion can be made.
