I had my gyno removed. Shit was making me crazy. I am gonna try to attach the picture I took of it to this thread but it may not take. I had the surgery while awake to save money on an anesthesiologist. The small piece of flesh in the back is from my right nipple and the larger one up front was under my left nipple. Shit is fucking nasty but it's finally gone. Thought I'd share. Fuck you gyno!!!!!

Fantastic photos.
Put 'em on a wall.

Bread 'em and fry 'em...

Few questions. Who did it, how much and where? If you aren't willing to share can you PM me? Did they take out just the gyno mass or the entire gland?
-
Had mine removed a few years back. Kinda regret it to an extent, since its made my chest look uneven now.

In hindsight, would you have gone with anesthesiologist. or was it not that big a deal?

LOL. It looked bad before but could still look great when my nips were hard (no homo).

No, I would not have used an anesthesiolgist, it saved me a couple grand, well worth it. They just inject it and numb it up real good and I just kinda laid back and didn't really watch while he was cutting it. It only took about five to ten minutes per side at the most. It hurt a little bit and was definitely weird but I took some valium in advance to be relaxed. I think most guys are going without the anestheisolgist these days to save the money, it's a good call.

I live in Charleston, SC. If you live near here I can let you know the doc's name but I'm sure there are many qualified plastic surgeons who can do it. It's a pretty common surgery these days. They just took out the mass with a scalpel but he also did some "smart lipo" to get the fat around it out of there (this part wasn't really necessary in my opinion as there was very little fat). Anyway, the whole thing cost me $2250. That included everything. The smart lipo hurt and I would not recommend that. As far as removing "the entire gland", that can only happen if they remove your nipples as well. If the nipple stays in place you still have some form of glandular tissue (this is what the doc told me, I'm not an expert by any means).

Hi Wonder Woman -- thanks for the concern but I'm past the point of getting an infection. :)
FYI...most health plans these days do provide for some mental health benefits. You may want to consult your healthcare provider. Hope this helps! Chixlegs

Gyno glands are the wisdom teeth of bodybuilders

Breakfast has been regurgitated.

So the medical staff took the picture with their bloody latex gloves on, while you were asleep?
-
Hope you learned your lesson...Now stay off the drugs. Build muscle naturally and if you can't, find another hobby....
-
The sad part is that it can return. Not all of the tissue is gone and it can grow again.

Depends on who you go to .. that's a very conservative & somewhat outdated recovery period
I was back at work the next day, and felt no pain by day 4. Was back doing cardio & non-upper body weights after 1 week, and using light weights for upper body stuff after 2 weeks. No physical restrictions after 4 weeks. The worst part was wearing a compression garment 24/7 for 4 weeks afterwards .. but now that's over with
I went to Dr Pensler in Chicago and was very pleased. No drains placed, no general anesthesia (uses conscious sedation), and a reasonable price ($5200). The man does 2-300 gyno removals a year. Highly recommended.
