Because bozos like us watched it.

Majority of time spent for a bber is in the kitchen unless they do some heavy duty prepping over the weekend. Yates stated his full time job was eating not lifting weights.
-
I thought he retired...

this is gonna sound weird but there is a good amount of weirdos who probably have a "eating fetish" who watch these videos
and I'm not saying this to make a "ha-ha" either
-
as an aside I would only watch a Evan video if he did a collaboration with his uncle
-
"Im not afraid to throw in some clams"
Warrior right there....

To use a musician's phrase, his whole bodybuilding career has been a "clam".

These guys are not bodybuilders, they're cooks!
Funny how most talk about healthy food this and healthy nutrition that whilst injecting all chemicals known to mankind :-)

This is true.

just food, how much does a pro bber spend a month on food?
$2000 a month?

Calorie is a calorie?
-
i think so unless we're talking health reasons but this is pro bodybuilding so we're not
i dont think the difference between first and dead last mr olympia comes down to phil heath's eating habits being superior.

pretty much, off season is off season
-
if eating is so hard we should be full of admiration for the increasing number of people of the us, germany, dubai etc who get fatter ever year
maybe they can start making videos of how much they eat each day and people will applaud them on youtube

I don't know if he's a good dude or a bad dude. All I know is I felt depressed after I watched that video.

Why depressed?
-
Didn't watch the video but I bet your average American fat woman eats more than that on a daily basis but without all the drama
-

Its hard to imagine one bber spending more than $50/day on food and that's only $1500/month
Protein powder - free
3lbs meat - $25-30
Rice/oats/potatoes - $5
Fruits/vegetables - $10
Maybe if all they ate was takeout sushi or something
-
Why depressed?
Likely because the video showed an utterly lonely existence consisting of little more than food preparation, shopping, and consumption, and snail's pace walking on a treadmill. I know that's not a typical day for him considering his life and family, but solely the videos content left me down. Sadly, about seventeen years ago, though I never was an IFBB pro, I thought that was the coolest way to live, being alone inside all day except for the gym, constantly cooking and eating. I remember avoiding nights out because I'd miss my sixth meal and go catabolic if I went out.

isnt tren their main recomposition supplement?
-
Some pros really do eat like that man - most have a significant other that does the cooking for them though.
Other pros do the more relaxed rotating of meals where meal 1 is clean, meal 2 dirty (but still high in protein) meal 3 clean meal 4 somewhat dirty, etc. Depends on bodybuilder.
Wake up cooking, eating, taking a nap, eating, go train, smoke weed, eat, nap, play playstation, eat, maybe gym again or smoke weed....if not smoking weed then hitting some bain or doing both. lol.

Seems like a pretty chill way of life, rather do that then train fat housewives all day like most pros, or do some random gay for pay shit.
