Rockel 100% income loss.

Prob because most (depleted) competitors don't get exited from a +10 hour flight, plus the price money is only a fraction from the AC in Columbus

Good. There are too many of these watering down the brand. The 90s-early 2ks nocs were more competitive than the arnold nowadays
-
no $ to be made
the 1st A asia had very weak attendance
I heard the Arnold classic Australia may be axed also
numbers way down from the 1st year
a friend who went to this year and 1st year said numbers were about 1/3 of the 1st year
-
Was Wong Hong Kong scheduled to compete?
-
How many Arnold's are there???
-
Well the way I heard it last year Arnold was having to appease the audience by letting them back in the venue because an hour after the show they were hungry for more.
-
Don't worry the Alnord Crassic is still a go :-*
-
Nobody gives a shit.

I heard it was because they had a sign marked at 4' 11" saying, "YOU MUST BE AT LEAST THIS TALL TO COMPETE".
-
I`ll never get to sleep tonight knowing the show has been cancelled! :(
-
Why do a Arnold Classic in Asia? Even if those rice eaters take roids and grow they'll still be smaller than Ronnie Coleman's shit. So nobody really cares, and why fly in real muscle from the states when they can all just go to Columbus?

Get chun chin guy liner to guest pose, that'll put butts in seats

Messiah seems to do an amazing job bringing it here to Oz even heard him on Prime Time Radio last year promoting it, that's pretty amazing to get that. But we are a small country.

Good, they should all be canceled. It's really all about the expo and how much fart powder and other nonsense they can sell you. The competitors are just a tool to sell more of this crap, most don't realize they are being used.
-
I called this when they announced all of these "Arnold Classics" in the first place. I think that promoters thought that all they had to do was slap Arnold's name on it, and it would be an instant hit.
Everyone knows there is only one true Arnold Classic, held every year in Dubai, India.

MR. Anabolic .... I understand what you mean but You raise an interesting question when you said, " It's really all about the expo and how much fart powder and other nonsense they can sell you."
I've been to a good number of these expos and it's interesting to note that I have never seen any 'sale in which money changed hands' at any of these events.
In reality everything I've ever gotten was handed to me or thrown at me in the form of a 'sample' including T-shirts, wrist bands, supplements, gym passes, etc., etc.
And I seldom attend the actual contest any longer just because it's too damn boring unless it's held as a side event such as the 212 contest held within the expo area which you can see as you are passing by while visiting the expo booths.
And it does appear that the expos themselves are the big money makers which help support the contest itself.
Has anyone ever purchased anything at all at one of these expos?

I work the Toronto Pro Expo every year for the company I work for. We had 3 brands at the expo this year, and one of the brands sold a TON of product. The other two were mediocre sales-wise. The interest was there, the samples moved like crazy, but purchases were low for my liking. However, the one brand that did well released pb+choc and choc protein bars bars, and people went nuts for them. We sold boxes upon boxes. The other two brands only sold protein powder, bcaas, preworkouts, etc... And people weren't too keen on buying them.
In short, yes people buy product at expos. But bars, cookies, etc... seem to sell very well. Protein powders and BCAA powders, not so much.
