I recently stayed in a hotel where I noticed a large group of seriously jacked dudes at the breakfast buffet, usually in this particular city this would be an Olympic team of some sort - while making small talk at check out I asked if they were one of the Olympic teams, assuming they were wrestlers. The desk person answered that they were special forces (another thing this city is known for is multiple military bases).
I was somewhat taken aback as I am personally familiar with steroids and know the general height/weight/body-fat percentage limits for non-users and would swear these guys were juiced. I was in fact so struck by what I would say are fairly obvious steroid physiques that I googled special forces and steroids later on and found plenty of internet "evidence" (accuracy is always suspect with the internet), I thought I'd run this by getbig and get some other opinions.
So am I nuts or are they juicing these days , or are the natural limits being seemingly exceeded in some other way?

Translation = I was sharking the men's room in Colorado and blew a bunch of marines.

They need a better name. Special Forces sounds like where they assign the retards.

When I was stationed at Langley AFB in Hampton, Va in the early 90's, a tall white guy, 6'4"-6'5", would show up to the base gym regularly. The pull down had a 250lb stack and the cable row a 300lb stack. He would do the whole stack on both for sets of 10-12 reps! He was lanky muscular like an NBA player so it was surprising the first time you see him using that weight, good form too. He would bench 315 for 8-10 also. Supposedly he was a Seal out of Norfolk.
When I spent a few months at PSAB is Saudi, a few Pararescuemen would be in the gym the same time as me. They never worked legs but all of them benched 365-405 for 5-6 reps!
So I wonder, are all special ops on something or are they just naturally strong, which might be why they are special ops to begin with?
-
if steroids is beneficial for them i sure hope they are on it.
-
Special Forces is the creme of the top of the military and you wonder why they are in shape?
-
Of course they are on. I have seen guys go away and come back jacked.

I served in the Marine Corps in the late 80s early 90s. Most every Marine was normal in size and strength and none that I witnessed where juicing. Only one marine on the base was and he was a amateur competitive bodybuilder. Steroids where on the do not do list yet he was somehow given the exception. I had a few friends that where forced recon that where big and strong yet where not juiced either. Some men are just naturally strong, so much so that others assume they are using steroids. The poundage you mention are not necessarily indicative of steroid use. I myself was able to lift the same weights in the same fashion you described, I never juiced. I was suspect of it however by those whom where ignorant. Some men just have a better genetic advantage than others and when they are in an environment that is isolationist and focused. They will blow up big and strong from it. Think about it, all the training at a routine time every day. Eating scheduled the same everyday, sleeping schedule. The body thrives on a routine that the military provides, it really can turn one into a machine. All that said I would not be surprised if some of the special forces units where on, and why not? Let them have everything they need to get the job done.

You bet ISIS wouldn't hesitate to use all drugs available to man if it helped them, so the decent world should too.

I have been told by Marines home on leave that currently the USMC discourages bodybuilding.
When personnel arrive at new stations and they ask about gyms, many get hit with a talking point, "Wouldn't it be better if you would worry about your combat skills rather than 'vanity muscles'?"
They also have body mass standards that make it difficult for the heavily muscular...This is by design supposedly because they want lanky endurance athletes.

I like whores with big fake tits and round asses.

The US special forces seem to favour big muscular dudes, where as the SAS youd never pass selection if you carried that much size

This. I remember watching a UK documentary which followed marine recruits going through the selection process. The guy who looked in the best shape didn't make it through. Carrying too much muscle. The skinnier guys could cover much more ground, but they were still strong fuckers. They just didn't look it.
The ones who made it through also had serious mental toughness. Beyond being super fit, a stubborn refusal to give up appears the primary quality the UK army want in a special forces soldier.

Same goes for us border patrol/customs/ice, some law enforcement, especially Indian rez cops. Want to play songs by used to make up heroin also happened to be the same parking lot where there was a carpool drop off or staging point for correctional officers for one of the prisons near by. They'd all Park their cars and hop in white Ford Econoline Vans and drive to Weber prison day worked at period usually at least for vans filled with officers who were usually about six foot two or above and at least 240 to 260 pounds.

There is a pic of either a marine I believe, black dude, with some huge arms. He was pulling something, like it was a competition. Sev of course said that he had better genetics than this guy did. Also, a lot of enlisted women and female police officers are in great shape as well.

I can speak with some certainty on this issue, without getting too detailed.
These Special Forces/SEALs or whatever you want to call them, they are naturally stronger and faster than the average person. Not neccessarily bigger, but pound for pound they are stronger and faster. Not many of them juice right off the bat... one also needs to understand that you cant just sign up and become "special forces"... The process is lengthy, and you start off low and get selected/make your way into the special forces. Its usually during that time that some resort to juicing, but thats a very special few.
Once you get in the higher echelons (SF/SEAL) and do your SF86, not many want to risk getting denied because of steroid use.
The majority of the steroid users are the ones that actually achieve those higher ranks and are part of a very selective group... by then Uncle Sam has spent over a mil on them (some SSBI can cost 200K), and they arent going to shitcan someone with TS/SCI with alot of training over something "trivial"... So the point is, these guys are naturally stronger, faster (at times bigger) than the normal person, but once they do reach that point of becoming special forces, some do even get bigger by juicing. Its an alpha male/high testosterone dominated environment, so you can just imagine.

This fella was trending a while back. He is 100% on steroids and has horrible bitch tits too

Yes, but steroids and HGH in their case is vastly important for recovery. The shit they do daily requires quick recovery the next day.
