Last winter Matt had fallen under hard times and was working at a Christmas tree lot to make extra money. I felt bad for him and bought a 8' Scotch Pine off him. As he was helping me carry the tree to my vehicle he said to me "Will you be putting this up yourself?" I replied "No, I'll be putting it up in my living room, you sick fuck!" We dropped the tree and went at it. I hit him with an inside crescent kick to the liver, followed up with a spinning back elbow, which put him on his ass, and then proceeded to ground 'n pound him, finishing him off with heel hook. Let's just say he won't run his smart mouth at me anymore.

Sucks your public library card is $6over due and you can't afford it on that salary, haven't been able to check out a book in 7yrs.

Dude brags about molesting some 13yr old girl, torturing animals with his brother for fun, is Father schools Matt's brother for riding a motorcycle without a helmet and Matt and his brother proceeded to beat the shit out of the father and later threatened to throw their mother out of a window. Matt thinks this is funny, and brags about how disobedient him and his brother were all throughout their childhood including constantly breaking everything they thought they could and getting away with it, brags about how him and his brother skip the funeral of a family member and instead go out and get drunk and take a few college girls to some Palm and two of the girls died drowning in Fountain some Whirlpool that Matt brags about getting out of because God saved him but God didn't care about the two girls and apparently he felt so bad that the very next night him in his brother go out and get drunk at a house party again looking for more girls but they have no luck and instead decide to ransack the owners cabinets and fridge and when the owner confronts them asking what the fuck you doing eating on my shit? They throw the owner out the window. Matt also thinks it's funny that while in Junior College he would go out to the parking lot and tip over people's cars knowing that nobody would step up to him and do anything about it.. I've read the book, and believe me, it's not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. A lot of the stuff you're hearing is coming from haters who like to take things out of context and twist things to make them sound worse than they are.
Yes, Mark and Matt once beat up their father. But, he wasn't bragging about it, and it wasn't because he wanted one of them to wear a helmet. They beat him up because he was a neglectful, abusive douche who was tearing their family apart. He regularly verbally (and although not mentioned, probably physically) abused their mother in front of them all the time. He was a lousy person who was making their family suffer.
No, Matt did not have sexual relations with a little girl. His brother, Mark, made out with her, but made just had a crush on her his whole life. A "girl next door" type of situation. He ended up marrying her.

I spoke of personal experience. Meaning being in rehab with a kid who happened to be Matt Hughes cousin. Funny thing hot rehabs work now with Obamacare is that usually the insurance company will put you on an airplane and fly you far away from where you live if you want and most people who live in the Midwest in some bumbfuck town they don't want to go to rehab and fucking Kansas City for Minneapolis they get the opportunity they're going to go to fucking Florida or California period same thing with motherfuckers in Maine. they don't want to go to rehab in fucking Jersey they're going to go to rehab in Los Angeles. Insurance companies actually encourage people to go to rehab an area that is far away from where they live because it's more effective. If you got to rehab in the next town over the chances of you picking up the phone and call on a dope dealer to drive over and drop you off some dope a pretty high so they what you an area where you don't know anybody. That's why this kid was in Murrietta California where I was. I chose both my rehabs to be in California and not Florida. Everybody wants to run their mouth and cry bullshit like the odds of some semi famous dude who is famous to maybe 2% of the entire US population might have a cousin with a painkiller and anxiety medication problem are like a thousand to one or something... and they believe that the odds of their little manlet hero being an asshole must also be a thousand to one so anybody claiming the contrary must also be lying. I never said I knew mad and I never said I knew man to be an arrogant dick. I said his cousin said the dude was a bully and in here and would get into fights and shit and family get-togethers or family reunions. I go to thrift stores to find odd books. More enjoyable than just ordering it from Amazon. Lost my copy of Atlas Shrugged and found it finally after looking for 4yrs and in the meantime picked up a cpl other Ayn Rand books for shirs n giggles.
Been searching for The Quiet American for the past few yrs now.

Funny how you figure a shithole by scene two feet of kitchen counter space with a toaster and a couple pots on it picking from the cabinet below while the adhesive dries after relining the cabinets earlier that afternoon.
And no reasonable means of supporting myself? I've been a personal trainer and sports nutritionist 4 little over 17 and a half years now. That's the cake. All other income (such as selling the very same things your punk ass uses to prepare for shows) is just the icing.

I helped an ex-gf register for colege, drove 45mins to watch her 3 kids so she could save money on daycare/babysitting, paid her rent for almost 6months, put food in her fridge, paid for an exterminator and replcednher AC unit so her 3 boys could sleep at night when it's still 95° at midnight... All because her ex-husband cleaned her out and she had no one else to ask. And this was long after we'd stopped seeing each other.... Also volunteered as a counseler at an asthma camp fornyears during summers. Buying sports equipment for them every year out of my pocket. Have done plenty of kids bootcamps for free... Oh, and volunteer at an animal shelter here in the valley a couple times a week to bathe cats & kittens, and walk and bathe the dogs... For no money or "community service", but because I have the time and money and I enjoy doing it... And guess what? I'm not antisocial and not everything that comes out of my mouth is negative people enjoying having me around. I wouldn't expect you to understand because you, all around, are and self-centered, self-righteous, introverted, Clueless, sewer of negativity who will never understand the definition of what a stand up guy is.
