BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (AP) — In a hidden room in a house near Argentina's capital, police believe they have found the biggest collection of Nazi artifacts in the country's history, including a bust relief of Adolf Hitler, magnifying glasses inside elegant boxes with swastikas and even a macabre medical device used to measure head size.
Some 75 objects were found in a collector's home in Beccar, a suburb north of Buenos Aires, and authorities say they suspect they are originals that belonged to high-ranking Nazis in Germany during World War II.

LOCO, You might recall that a year or so ago German authorities found a trove of 1,280 paintings, drawings, and prints worth more than a billion dollars in the Munich apartment of a haunted white-haired recluse.
And there was some question regarding the rightful owners of that treasure chest.
Some people even thought that he could possibly turn out to be the rightful owner if no one came forth to make a valid claim.
But then I lost interest and have no idea how that turned out.

I hope Hitler did make it out. 30 or 40 years of second guessing himself every damn day, knowing he would have won the war if he hadn't made so many boneheaded decisions. That'd really smart after a few decades in a dusty pueblo courtyard.

I hope Hitler did make it out. 30 or 40 years of second guessing himself every damn day, knowing he would have won the war if he hadn't made so many boneheaded decisions. That'd really smart after a few decades in a dusty pueblo courtyard.
I doubt someone like Hitler would ever admit to having made any bad decisions. Just look at all the stuff Hillary keeps giving as reasons for having lost the election.

One sees that the collecting of 3rd Reich memorabilia is illegal in Argentina. I do hope that the stuff winds up in a museum, or similar, and doesn't fall prey to PC sentiment. A lot of that stuff is interesting in a historic, and pure craftsmanship sort of a way.

Several high ranking Nazis like Eichman escaped to South America .
FYI, he was caught , tried and sentenced to death over 40 years ago.
There is a lot of evidence Hitler himself escaped and made it Buena Aires via U-Boat after WW-II.
The FBI had a bunch of documents on the search, only recently released.
He was reported to have died around 1962 of poor health near the Argentine- Chile boarder
